The Second Movie I Ever Walked Out On!
28 February 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this pathetic excuse for a movie this weekend because the original movie I wanted to see was sold out. I thought that since I loved all three Scary Movies, that this would be a really funny movie. However I was way wrong. This has got to be the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. In fact it was so bad, I walked out half way through because I couldn't stand it anymore.

Here are some of the many reasons why I don't like this movie. First of all, almost all of the jokes on this movie were disgusting. Second, there was basically no plot. The little plot that there was, was extremely stupid. Third, it spoofed "Meet the Parents". "Meet the Parents" is an excellent movie and it doesn't deserve to be spoofed by a horrible movie like this.

The BEST part of the movie was the previews for upcoming movies before the show even began.

Overall, if you know its good for you, don't see this movie. I give "Date Movie" 1/10 stars and I look forward to seeing it at the next Razzi award ceremony.

Great Movie!
2 February 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I saw "War of the Worlds" last summer in theaters with my family. I found the movie to be very entertaining. The acting was well done and the special effects were excellent. The script was also well written, it kept me hooked.

"War of the Worlds" tells the story of a man and his 2 kids trying to escape from aliens who have invaded Earth. There were also some pretty scary scenes. In my opinion the beginning of the movie was the probably the scariest part.

Overall I really enjoyed this film, and I suggest everyone should see it. I give "War of the Worlds" 10/10 stars.

I saw "Herbie: Fully Loaded" in theaters several times and I absolutely loved it. I've always been a fan of Herbie and I was really excited about seeing this film. Overall I loved his film and I think everyone should give it a try. I know own it on DVD and I have watched it several times. I give "Herbie: Fully Loaded" 10/10 stars.

Well Done!
11 October 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this movie this pass Sunday with my family, and I have to say it was a very well done horror film. Very rarely does a movie scare me, and this movie was one of those rare occasions when a movie did.

"The Exorcism of Emily Rose" tells the story of Emily Rose a young girl who starts experiencing strange things. Her priest believes she has been posed by the devil but doctors believe she has epilepsy. The movie then follows the trial after her death. The acting was also very well done, as well as the script.

The scariest part of the movie was when Emily started seeing everyones faces turn evil. I also thought that the exorcism was pretty scary.

Overall I thought this was a very good movie and I suggest everyone should see it. I give "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" 10/10 stars!

Clarissa Explains It All (1991–1994)
10/10
A Great Series
16 July 2005
"Clarissa Explains It All" was a classic Nick show that aired in the early '90's. I remember watching it on SNICK when I was younger with my sister.

"Clarissa Explains It All" told the story of Clarissa Darling, a young girl who wanted to be a journalist. She lived with her mom, dad, and her brother Ferguson. Her best friend was her neighbor, Sam, who came in through her window everyday. There was also her pet alligator Elvis.

My all time favorite episodes were "Haunted House" and "Sam in Love", though, all the episodes were classics. I also thought the acting in this show was very well done, including Melissa Joan Hart as Clarissa.

I miss the days when Nick aired classic shows. I give "Clarissa Explains It All" 10/10 stars.

Nickelodeon GUTS (1992–1995)
A Good Show
16 July 2005
I remember watching Guts on Nickelodeon when I was younger with my sister and brother. We always loved seeing the different physical challenges the contestants had to compete in. My favorite challenge were the "Vertiboggan" and "Boulder Canyon".

Although this show only lasted for three seasons, I enjoyed every episode of it. I also enjoyed Global GUTS, the spin off series that had contestants from all around the world participating in it.

I miss the days when Nickelodeon use to air good shows, like Guts, Double Dare, Rugrats(pre-Dil and Kimi), Rocko's Modern Life, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and many great shows. I give Guts 10/10 stars!

A Good Show
26 June 2005
I used to watch "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" when I was younger back when it began in 1993 when I was 6 years old. I used to watch it with my neighbors and after the show we used to act it out. I was always the pink ranger and my sister was always the yellow ranger.

My favorite characters were the pink ranger and the red ranger. My favorite episodes, as I recall, were: "Happy Birthday, Zack", "No Clowning Around", and "A Bad Reflection on You". I also had many of the "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" videos. I used to watch the videos all the time.

I only liked the "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers", none of the "Power Rangers" spin offs. I found the spin offs to be stupid. I give the "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" 9/10 stars and all of the following spin offs 2/10 stars.

Batman Begins (2005)
10/10
An Excellent Movie!
26 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"Batman Begins" is an excellent movie about the origin of Batman. I saw this movie opening weekend with my family. We went around 9:30 at night and I'm pretty sure the theater was sold out since it was very crowded. My family and I agreed it was very well done movie full of a lot of action. In fact after the movie ended (and even during some scenes during the movie) the audience was cheering.

"Batman Begins" told the story of Bruce Wayne and how he became the Gothom City superhero Batman. There were many great scenes during this film including some of my favorites involving the villain "The Scarecrow". I also enjoyed the special effects, especially Gothom City.

The acting in the film was also very well done, including great roles played by Christian Bale(Wayne/Batman), Michael Caine(Alfred Pennyworth), Morgan Freeman(Lucius Fox), and Katie Holmes(Rachel Dawes).

Overall I think everyone should see this movie. It is definitely one of the best movies this year. I give it 10/10 stars and hope to see a "Batman Begins 2".

All That (1994–2020)
Used to be good...
25 June 2005
"All That" used to be one of the funniest shows on Nick. I started watching it when it began back it 1995 when I was eight years old. I remember watching it whenever it aired with my sister and brother, who both also enjoyed it. Sometimes even my parents would watch it and get some good laughs.

"All That" can be seen as "Saturday Night Live" for younger viewers. It was full of hilarious sketches and musical performances starring a teenage cast.

When the show began in 1995 it a had a fresh good cast. Some members of the good cast included: Angelique Bates, Josh Server, Amanda Bynes, Danny Tamberelli, Kenan Thompson, and Kel Mitchell. However, in 2001 things began to change. The scripts weren't as funny as they used to be and new cast members came that began to destroy the show including Jamie Lynn Spears, who just can't act for her life.

Overall I give the old cast of "All That" from 1995-2000 10/10 stars and the new cast from 2001 to the present 4/10 stars.

A beautiful movie
12 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" was a truly enlightening movie. I saw it in theaters last weekend with my mom and my sister. It was a beautiful movie that I immediately fell in love with.

"The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" told the story of four friends: Lena, Bridget, Tibby, and Carmen. They have been friends for their entire lives and never been separated. Now when they are teenagers for the first time in their lives, they are going there separate ways. Before they separated they discovered a pair of pants that fit them all. They decided to share the pair of pants during the summer and each experience the 'magic' of the pants.

Overall this was a really good movie and everyone should see it. I give this movie 10/10 stars.

"Double Jeorpardy" tells the story of Libby Parsons who is convicted of murdering her husband, Nick Parson. While she is in prison for six years she suspects that her husband is still alive. She learns about double jeopardy and plans on getting revenge on her husband, and being reunited with her son Matty.

Overall I thought this was a really good movie. I suggest that everyone should see it. I give "Double Jeopardy" 10/10 stars.

Spooky Fun!
6 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" was one of the best shows on Nick. I began watching it when it premiered when I was five years old, and I used to love watching it on snick.

"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" aired during Nick's golden years. This was the time when Nick aired great shows like the "Rugrats"(pre Dil and Kimi), "Rocko's Modern Life", "Legends of the Hidden Temple", and many other great shows.

Even though some of the episodes were scary they were all really good. My favorite episode was the one when the two brothers kept hanging out on the 13th floor of their apartment building and the episode when the kid kept seeing the ghost who said he was cold.

In conclusion I loved this show and I give 10/10 stars. I hope they release all the seasons on DVD.

"Evita" is one of my favorite musicals. It is a beautiful movie with great acting and wonderful songs. I've seen it many times and never get tired of it.

"Evita" tells the story of the life of Eva Peron. It started out when she was a young child and followed her life until her death. It showed how she helped a nation in need during a time of disaster.

My favorite songs are "Don't Cry for Me Argentina", "High Flying Adored", "You Must Love Me", and "Eva Beware of the City". I also own the CD of Evita and the DVD.

In conclusion, this was a really good movie. I give it 10/10 stars.

Great Movie!
4 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"A Bronx Tale" is a wonderful movie. I've seen it many times and I never get bored of watching it. I think the acting is great and the plot is also very clever.

"A Bronx Tale" tells the story of Calogero, who later becomes known as "C", growing up in the Bronx in the 1960s. He later befriends a mobster named Sonny, and they have an everlasting friendship. Calogero's father Lorenzo, is a bus driver, and he tries to prevent his son from becoming associated with the mafia.

My favorite part of the movie is when Sonny tells Calogero that if Jane unlocks the car door for him, then she is the right girl for him. I also like the fight with the bikers in the bar.

Overall this is a really good movie and I suggest everyone should see it. I give this movie 10/10 stars!

Double Dare 2000 (2000–2001)
The Last of the "Double Dare" Spin-offs
4 June 2005
"Double Dare 2000" was the last spin-off in the "Double Dare" saga. It was a great series and brought back many childhood memories. Even though it didn't last for long, while it aired I watched it everyday and enjoyed every minute of it.

"Double Dare 2000" introduced the new host Jason Harris. Harris was a very good new host for the show. "Double Dare 2000" also followed pretty much the same rules as the older "Double Dare" series. The physical challenges were still pretty messy which made it fun to watch. However there were also a few changes. The new triple dare was introduced which could have allowed a physical challenge to be worth up to 300 dollars and the award of a bonus prize. This made the show very exciting!

Overall this was a great series and it's a shame that it didn't last longer. I give this show 10/10 stars.

Family Double Dare (1988–1992)
Great Game Show!
4 June 2005
This was another great spin off of the classic game show Double Dare. I remember watching it in 1990 on Nickelodeon when I was 3 years old. As I got older through the years I wanted to be on this show with my family. I think we would have done very well on the show. Marc Summers was still a great host

This was one of the many great game shows that Nickelodeon aired, along with "Legends of the Hidden Temple", "GUTS", the original "Double Dare", "Nick Arcade", "Super Sloppy Double Dare", and many other great game shows.

This was a great game show and it was too bad that it didn't last longer. I give "Family Double Dare" 10/10 stars!

Super Sloppy Double Dare (1986–1989)
A Great Spin Off
4 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
"Super Sloppy Double Dare" was a great spin off of the popular game show "Double Dare". I remember watching reruns of this show with my sister when I was around four or five years old in the early 1990's.

"Super Sloppy Double Dare" was very similar to the "Double Dare" series except it was a lot messier which made it really fun to watch. Marc Summers was still the host, and did a great job at it. My favorite part of each episode were the physical challenges. Those always looked so fun, especially the obstacle course at the end. The grand prize, which was usually a trip, was also very exciting.

Overall this was a really enjoyable show. I give it 10/10 stars.

Double Dare (1986–1988)
Brings Back Memories
4 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I remember watching this show when I was younger on Nickelodeon. I loved it. My sister and I would watch this show everyday. I thought Marc Summers was a good host and I loved watching the different physical challenges and questions.

The show consisted of two teams with silly names. They would answer a series of questions and if one team didn't know the answer they would dare the other team to answer it. If that team didn't know it, they would then double dare the other team back. Through the different dares the value of the money would go up. If a team got double dared and they did not know the answer they could take a physical challenge. The physical challenges were very fun to watch. At the end the winning team competed in an 8 step obstacle course with many different events to participate in. If they complete the different obstacles in sixty seconds they won a grand prize.

Overall this was a very good game show and very fun to watch. I give "Double Dare" 10/10 stars!

An Old Favorite
4 June 2005
"Legends of the Hidden Temple" has to be one of my favorite childhood game shows. It began right around the time I started first grade. I remember watching this show with my sister every time it aired. We both always wanted to be on the show.

The scenery of the game show was very well done and I loved Olmec the talking rock. He always introduced the new legend of that day. Host Kirk Fogg was also a very good host. My favorite team would have to be the Silver Snakes. That was an awesome name.

My favorite part of each episode was the fourth round: The Temple. It had a lot interesting rooms including the shrine of the silver monkey and the observatory. I give this show 10/10 stars.

Salute Your Shorts (1991–1992)
A Great Show!
4 June 2005
I remember watching this show when I was little on Nickelodeon. I haven't seen it in a long time and I really miss it. I remember watching this show with other Nickelodeon classics, like the older Rugrats episodes, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Aaahh! Real Monsters, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and many other great Nick shows. I really miss the days when Nick aired good shows like this.

Salute Your Shorts told the story of a bunch of kids at camp Anawanna. There was the camp counselor Kevin Ug Lee who the kids always abused, which was hysterical. There was also the mysterious Dr. Kahn, who was never seen, only heard. He was in charge of the camp. My favorite episode was "Ellen Comes to Camp". I give this show 10/10 stars.

A Pretty Good Show!
4 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
From the creator of "Family Guy" comes "Americam Dad!". I am a huge fan of "Family Guy" so I had to watch this show when it premiered. The pilot of the show was great and had me laughing a lot. Each week the episodes are getting better with more laughs.

"American Dad!" tells the story of Stan Smith, a CIA worker who is constantly looking out for terrorist activity. He lives with his wife Francine, his teenage daughter Hayley, and his son Steve. His family also consists of Klaus a German-talking goldfish and Roger an alien who was rescued by Stan from Area 51. My personal favorite character is Roger, he always has me laughing.

My favorite episode would have to be "Francine's Flashback". That episode was hysterical. I hope this show lasts for many more seasons. I give it 10/10 stars.

The Angry Beavers (1997–2001)
The Last Good Nicktoon
4 June 2005
"The Angry Beavers" was a very good Nicktoon. It came around when Nickelodeon was still airing good shows, like cartoons and game shows. I thought the plot of the show was very good and funny and the voice acting was well done. I used to love watching this show with my sister and brother.

"The Angry Beavers" told the story of Norbert and Daggett who are two beaver brothers living together. They had many adventures together. Though they sometimes fought, they still always needed each other.

My favorite episodes are: "Friends, Romans, Beavers", "The Day the Earth Got Really Screwed Up", and "Up All Night II: Up All Day". These episodes are hysterical and classical, even though I love all of the episodes.

In conclusion, this is a really good show and I suggest everyone should watch it. I give "The Angry Beavers" 10/10 stars!

Rocko's Modern Life (1993–1996)

Very Funny Show!
21 May 2005
"Rocko's Modern Life" came to Nickelodeon during Nick's golden years. This was back in the days when the classic shows such as the older episodes of "Rugrats" and "Doug" aired. I was six years old when this show began and found it to be hysterical.

"Rocko's Modern Life" told the story of Rocko the adorable wallaby living in O-Town with his friends Heffer, Filbert, and his dog Spunky. There were also his hilarious neighbors the bigheads. My all time favorite episodes are "Carnival of Knowledge" and "Road Rash". Other great episodes include: "Skid Marks", "Popcorn Pandemonium", "Who's For Dinner?", "To Heck and Back", and "Love Spanked". These episodes are Rocko classics!

This show was really funny and it also contained a lot of adult humor that I didn't even notice when I was a kid. I was really sad when Nick canceled it. However I am happy that I can still watch reruns on the Nicktoons station. I give "Rocko's Modern Life" 10/10 stars.

The Ren & Stimpy Show (1991–1996)
A Funny Show
21 May 2005
I remember watching this show when I was little back when it premiered in 1991. It was one of the original three Nicktoons along with "Doug" and "Rugrats". I was a fan of all three shows.

"Ren and Stimpy" had a different kind of humor than other cartoons at the time. You never knew what to expect. At times it could be really disgusting but that added to the humor. My favorite episodes were "Nurse Stimpy", "The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen", "Stimpy's Fan Club", "An Abe Divided", "Big Baby Scam", and "The Boy Who Cried 'Rat'".

In conclusion I haven't seen this show in a long time. I wish Nick would start airing the older shows again like this, "Aaaah Real Monsters", "Classics Rugrats", "Doug", and many other classic shows. I give "The Ren & Stimpy Show" 10/10 stars.
