It is horror movies like this that gives horror a good name

Now this horror movie was a refreshment! Unlike most horror movies, where you can from the first ten minutes see who is going to die and who is going to make is, which can be quite annoying, is luckily not a problem in this movie. This movie, isn't like that at all. This movie kills people you thought would live and vice versa. The movie doesn't contain a lot of gore either (which doesn't classify a movie as a horror either way) but instead relies on creating a certain unsettling mood which I found very disturbing and that feeling was only enhanced because I watched it in the middle of the night. And I applaud it. I absolutely loved it.

The mood of a horror movie - a good horror movie no less - beats blood spilling in your average stupid horror movie any day.

For once, the horror directors don't just give us meaningless killing and death, but when it does give us death, it does it for the storyline and not just for the sake of pleasing the audiences bloodlust, the deaths that takes place in this movie actually helps the storyline to move, which is too rarely seen in a movie. I absolutely love this movie.

I give it 9 out of 10. I give it the 9 stars because the movie script, the storyline and the acting was superb, the reason it doesn't get the 10th star is because it is too short. This movie was so good, I didn't want it to end, especially not after only an hour and 19 minutes.

This movie is a must watch. Watch it!

Stealth (2005)

Oh my god, I am so mad. I just finished watching this movie on TV and my god, I wish I hadn't seen it. It is so freaking bad. I seriously demand we put the director and writer of this movie to sleep - permanently. What in the hell were they thinking!!!!!!???? "Hey, let us make a movie about a white male pilot and female pilot and a black male pilot. Then they should kill Russians and Koreans and the black man has to die!!! And, oh yes, and totally.. the white pilot should get the female in the end after killing some innocent soldiers... omg, Hold it.... Let us add another pilot... A COMPUTER! Oh my god, we might have something big here"

Please for the love of my well-being, let us put this movie and the people who are responsible for this movie to sleep.

I would have rated lower, but I give it 1 star because I kick ass... and because I am so mad.

I even think "Blue Crush" which I gave hell is a better movie than this... I am sorry "Blue Crush", you do not suck as much as I said. The standards for movies has been lowered.

Doom (2005)

Great Flick!

OK, first of, people, stop calling this a Resident Evil clone, as that is not true, the game DOOM came out before Resident Evil. This movie doesn't even resemble Resident Evil and the storyline in this movie is a hell of a lot better. Yes, I know it is not the same storyline as in the games, but I don't think the storyline of the game would have fit the movie screen very well to be honest. One man against hell's legions for two hours? YAAAWN. Great for a game, but not for a movie. This movie's storyline is good, better Than Re. Evil. More credible. The "zombies" in Res. Evil were pathetic, if I were Romero I would be mad. These zombies in Doom were a lot cooler, even though they could run and only losers like running zombies. Zombies should only shamble, but other than that, great flick!

The Last Man on Earth (1964)

The best of the three.

This gem of a movie is without a shadow of doubt the best of the three movies based on "I am Legend" the book by Richard Matheson from 1954. The other movies are: "The omega man" and the newest "I am Legend". They do no stay true to the book.. Not even a little. This first one though, does a decent job, especially considering the budget.

It is just sad, they couldn't stick with the book 100%, as it is one of the best books ever written along with Ayn Rands books. But sadly, that is how the film industry is.

The same thing happened with the birds. The movie is completely different from the book.

All in all, I give this movie an 8 out of 10. The movie would have gotten a 10 if it wasn't based on the book, as it would have been a kick-ass stand-alone movie with no ties to the book. But, when we know it is based on a book... especially a book that is this great... The movie can't help but fade into the background, compared to the exceptional story the book offered.

Blue Crush (2002)

My god. Waste of life and weekend.

I just made myself a profile here because of this stupid movie! Why does everybody love it? I mean it sucks! IT SUCKS! It's on TV as I write this, and it's 40 minutes into the movie and I HATE IT already! What is the point of this movie. Boring storyline, no character development (so far at least), no anything. My god, I can't even remember the characters' names and the storyline (what little storyline it has) I just can't find, maybe if I had it on DVD, I could read what it is about, but so far it has been a movie about chicks and surfboards and some nature scenery, that's it! I've wasted 40 minutes of my life... I can't go on writing about this movie, I'm gonna go do something fun, like slam my head against a wall...

I would have rated lower if I could, but I give it 1 star because I kick ass.
