Who wants to watch this rubbish?
12 October 2019
I sit through this rubbish to keep my wife company whilst she watches it. I'd rather be anywhere else and I mean anywhere else. It is appalling and the judges are some of the worst examples of human beings ever to be on prime time TV. Plus this drivel is funded by the TV licence which makes it even worse.

This could have been a half decent movie but the editing is awful!

Far too long to watch in one sitting.

Warning: Spoilers
Started watching this last night, stopped half way through as I couldn't stay awake, finished watching it this morning. This film just goes to show that chucking everything and everyone into one overlong and confusing mess of a movie is not in the best interest of telling big bold story lines, plus what a way to kill off multiple franchises.

Don't watch this if you have toenails to paint or a fish tank to watch.

This is painfully slow and excruciating to watch. The director appears to have confused arty shots and moody silences with plot. The acting is pants, the characters are not engaging and the story is hackney tosh. Don't watch this if you have toenails to paint or a fish tank to watch. This is a vary very rare example of the BBC failing to deliver good TV. This is painfully slow and excruciating to watch. If you are like me and don't like X-Factor or anything similar then don't watch this rubbish.

Just gave into pressure from my wife and daughter to watch this. On the plus side it looks very beautiful but I have never liked musicals and this is no exception. On the negative side the songs are dire, the singing is just the type that I hate, the plot is flimsy and trite, the characters are two dimensional and the pacing is rubbish. I've tried watching various musicals under pressure from the ladies in my family and cannot get my head around them at all. I'll add this one to the list of hours, probably days by now, spent trying like these things that I will never get back. If you are like me and don't like X-Factor or anything similar then don't watch this.
