Masters of the Air: Part One (2024)
Amazing
One of the best opening episodes of a series ever.
This is so far on par with Band of Brothers in terms of Quality, Acting and Score. The fighting scenes are breathtaking.
Butler as one of the main characters is doing a very fine job so far and since I don't know the story I can't wait to see how "Buck" develops during the series.
The only thing I could complain about is the obvious CGI that is being used. What Band of Brothers did with the "gritty image" and Grainy image will probably never come back in a serie. That doesn't mean it is bad of course, because the budget is just on top here.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part IV (2022)
Amazing episode throughout. Don't listen to the cry babies
Sure this episode is shorts, that's why it's not a 10/10 and because of some bad acting from Reva.
This episode has so much of what i Love from SW, the rescue from a highly controlled station and with some Jedi action.
Vader is in this episode and is terrifying, i hope he kills Reva later.
People are now complaining about the episodes because it is the "in" thing to do now. So please, don't listen to the haters who he the show just because they want to hate it and doesn't know anything about Star War's.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part III (2022)
Amazing
I really really love the slow paced world building Disney is doing with their shows, not just ADD action all the time.
Sure, Vader had some cheesy lines, but hasn't he always? Isn't that why we love him?
Can't wait for the next week! Seeing Vaders lightsaber and Obi Wans again was a feast for my eyes, and they really show how weak Obi Wan has become after 10 years on Tattooine.
I really love this show!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part I (2022)
Finally my old friend i see you again
As many others here i grew up with Star Wars, it was the first non cartoon movie i saw back in 1995 when i was a lee lad, loved it ever since.
And Obi Wan became my favorite together with Vader as he seemed so strange and mysterious, i loved him through the Prequels and the Clone Wars tv-series.
And now i can finally see him again, and boy i were happy.
It is shot nice, it is acted fine (especially by Ewan Mcgregor) and the story could be very interesting if done right. I knew they would build upon how Leia knew about Obi Wan in A New Hope, and i hope they do it justice.
The only really bad thing about this episode is the chase scene, that was horrendous to watch. But i could also see (or just hopefully see) past it's flaws, it could be they didn't catch her first because they wanted to scare here as much as possible before doing it, playing with her in some way.
Either way, i can't wait to see what they got in store for us!
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger (2022)
This is the best Star Ears content since Revenge of the Sith
Disney has outdone themselves. This episode was such a emotional ride.
Dave Filoni and Jan Faverou are geniuses.
That moment when we saw Cad Bane was amazing.
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine (2022)
A big step up from last week
This episode was amazing! Can't wait to see more of the Hutts!
Visually it is amazing, the fighting choreography is much better here than last week.
Let's hope the series gets even better!
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 1: Stranger in a Strange Land (2021)
Solid opening episode
Solid opening for the new Star Wars serie.
What i liked most was being told how Boba Fett escaped the Sarlacc pit and how dense and big Mos Espa looks now.
I bet this will be even better down the line!
Band of Brothers (2001)
It doesn't get better than this
BoB is the defining tv-series of all time.
The greatest tv-serie about the greatest generation.
This should and MUST be shown in all schools.
Midsommar (2019)
Fantastic movie
As a Swede i just Love how they captured the Feeling of Sweden (except the killing, give people pubic hair in drinks and such).
I Love the norse/Paganism.
If you liked Hereditary you Will probably like this One too.
The lead actress was amazing and deserves an Oscar nomination!
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Amazing episode
Before i say anything, i gave this episode 10/10 for 3 reasons.
1. The acting is beyond amazing.
2. The visual effect team and Rawin Djawadi deserves every prase they can get.
3. The shock of seeing the "Good guys" become the "Bad Guys", it is a way too show us that there is no Good in War. Seeing Stark soldiers raping and slaughter innocent People was shocking as hell.
The amount of hate GoT has gotten the last couple of weeks is understandable to some degree, but they should ONLY focus on D&D, because EVERYTHING else is atop of everything shown om television.
This episode DESERVES a 9.0 out of 10
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
Truly one of the greastest motion pictures too date.
Peter Jackson did it again.
He made me return to a middle-earth that disappeard too quickly back in 03. This movie is so beautiful with it's nature and the actors especially Martin Freeman and Ian Mckellen is superb. The opening was made beautiful with Ian Holm as old Bilbo and Frodo prepairs for Bilbos 111th birthday (Where Fellowship of the rings start) and then builds up tension. The scene with all the dwarfs in Bilbos kitchen is really funny and cute in it's own way. The things that i liked the most about the movie was probably the costumes and CGI (wich i thought would be bad cause it usually are). We get too see some good old friends like Beautiful Galadriel and Elrond, and our awesome evil wizard Saruman. The scene with the moon runes is really beautiful made. My favorite scene in the whole movie was the scene with Galadriel and Gandalf discussing Bilbo, the music in the background made it all magical.
Andy Serkis does once again awesome as Gollum who is improved in every aspect, a funny and dark scene with will be forever in our minds (just like the book scene).
The last scene when the company is up in the trees is one of the most awesomest scenes in all of Peter Jacksons movie, i was really on the edge of the seat on this one. The tension between Thorin and the orc Azog is so intence, and when Thorin decides to attack Azog and the music start, wooow the goosebumps.
I really can't wait for the 2nd one.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was easy the best movie of 2012, i ain't lying when i say that it is the greatest movie since 01, because this one was better than both Two towers and Return of the king.
It had a really bunch of humour, beauty, magic, awesome fight scenes, stayed true too the story and the appendices. Really looking forward too see how PJ is gonna make The Battle of the five armies :)
Really sorry for my bad English!
