Well.....
7 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The followup of Avatar is as beautiful GFX can go but with a "blend" story. Too many children in the Sully family gives too less depth in the characters yet they tried and it became too much with no success. And speaking of characters I must mention the young human they call "Spider" that hangs out with the avatars. He should simply not be in the movie at all. Hes anoying in his breathing mask, minimal outfit and warpaint running around acting and thinking hes a Navi. Pathetic, truly.

The story have we all seen before.

A chased family takes refuge with another "clan" and the threat they are fleeing from eventually caught up with them and everyone gets involved and drag into the conflict. Good vs evil with some losses and grief that comes from war.

Nothing special. Its worth a watch but if this would have been a streaming product for home i would have fast scrolled a good portion because the lack of stimulation and long slow sections of "bla bla".

The first movie was truly awsome. The sequal was "meh".

One of Netflix absolute best

A film that capturing the horrors of the WW1 on the western front is one of the best Ive ever seen in warmovies. Film makers managed to capture the actual life soldiers had fighting the the trenches against the french army in "no mans land" during WW1.

Following a group of young german recruits from enlisting and during the reality they face its very exciting.

Acting is very good, its also a german production so everyone speaks their original language which adds more realism to an already awsome movie.

Dubbed movies are horrible to watch...

There is so much I could write about this movie but its easier just to go and see it. Its a masterpiece.

Well It works but....

Compared to the first movie this had not much new to offer.

I found myself yawning two times during the movie and it was 5 pm in the afternoon.

There was "old" material all over again and left an small opening for another followup movie, same as before. Sure it really had your mind bending trying to sort of the mess but other then that.... "Matrix Resurrections" is a movie sure to be watched but only once.

Ok but a bit disappointed

It was a intense family love saga. Almost all "action" was in the emotional rolercoaster ride the family goes through, and the disaster itself came at a very distant second. Some cool special effects but like other said here, all the action are in the trailers. The rest is "high pulse" familydrama.

Good!

At first I thought this was just another "ride the hype" after The Avengers production but gladly I was mistaken. The story is tight and the runtime 12 min, but I learned today that short is not always a bad thing.

The effects are cool and rates high, the acting is really good and the diversity between the persona's of the actors works in harmony. What can I say except it made my cup of coffee in the morning taste a lot better.

The only problem is how to fill 10 lines of review of a short very good movie, when there literally ain't nothing to complain about.
