The Last Blockbuster (2020)
Pretty cheesy
Yeah, pretty cheesy and about an hour too long. And isn't it ironic that I watched a show about The Last Blockbuster on a little streaming service called Netflix.
Five Mile Creek (1983)
Why isn't this series on Disney+?
The Disney Channel was launched on April 18, 1983 and this series premiered in November 1983. Disney+ is the only streaming service that has almost all of its library online, but this series is one of the few exceptions. I really can't imagine why. It was very different at the time, and I could hardly wait for each week's episode. When the episodes were released on VHS, they were scarce in my area, so I was excited when the DVD came out, but disappointed that it was only the first 13 episodes. This series has never been on any streaming service, which is really a shame. How about it Disney+?
Though None Go with Me (2006)
Who's older?
Although Elizabeth and Frannie are about the same age, Millie Perkins (Frannie) is 15 years older than Cheryl Ladd (Elizabeth). Towards the end of the movie, the badly overdone makeup and stiff movement of Cheryl Ladd, she seemed to be the 15 years older one. Otherwise, this is a decent enough movie.
A Wedding on Walton's Mountain (1982)
No theme music?
How can you have a Waltons movie without using the familiar theme music? The music used at the beginning and the end was totally horrible and ridiculous.
The Cowboy (2016)
Good commentary
I really liked this show! It was shown on the AHC channel. Several movie westerns were discussed. In the context of the cowboy in real life vs film, I think they should have mentioned Open Range and Broken Trail.
BuzzFeed Unsolved: True Crime (2016)
Interesting and annoying
Although I like the commentary about the crimes and it is well researched, the guys' ignorance of the time period the crime was committed is aggravating. And their schtick is annoying.
NCIS: Los Angeles: Red (2013)
NCIS:RED
I think NCIS:RED could have worked if they would have recast Paris and Roy, and kept the rest of the team. Neither Kim Raver or John Corbett were right.
Law & Order: Criminal Intent: The Last Street in Manhattan (2011)
The High-Five?
Detective Goren high-fives a kid at the Inwood school. Was that possibly Vincent D'Onofrio's son or nephew?
The River Murders (2011)
Fire the sound man!!!
The worst part of this movie is the "background" music almost totally drowns out the dialogue.
50 Years of Star Trek (2016)
Bad use of sound
Drove me crazy with the overly loud music played during the interviews.
