Bean (1997)
British farce at its finest!
This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and in my opinion it is among the ranks of the legendary Monty Python.
"Bean" is about the infamous Mr.Bean, a lazy buffoon who manages to cause problems in even the simplest of tasks. In this movie, he works at an Art Gallery and the management desperately want to get rid of him. Rather than fire him, they send him to Los Angeles to unveil the painting, "Whistler's Mother". An American named David Langley allows Mr.Bean to stay in his house during his visit against the will of his family. This turns out to be a huge mistake.
This movie is roll-out-of-your-chair-laughing funny. Rowan Atkinson's acting is beyond excellent, and all of the other characters are good as well.
The only thing I can find to nitpick about this movie is that there is not a very strong plot. The movie is basically a line of connected humor skits. I personally do not mind this too much, but if you are looking for a movie with a story that can be made into a book, look elsewhere.
If you enjoyed the Mr.Bean series and like "disaster" movies, this is the perfect movie for you!

Skip it.
Many people hail this as a "cult classic". I am a fan of horror and cult movies like this, but personally, I recommend you skip this one. I have not not seen the others in the series, but if they are like this movie, I will not see it.
This is the supposed plot: A group of teenage J.Cs at a mysterious camp site called "Camp Crystal Lake" are terrorized by an unknown killer (NOT Jason) who doesn't show his/her (I'll avoid spoilers, as if anyone should see it) face until the last ten minutes of the movie.
But here's the more accurate plot: A group of horny kids sit around and a vague omen pops up here and there. This goes on for two thirds of the movie, and needless to say, it gets pretty boring. Suddenly, it's the end, and a killer with horrible acting runs in and a chase scene begins. The final battle isn't much too look out for, either. It basically consists of this: hero hits killer, killer is stunned, hero runs, killer jumps from behind a bush. Repeat.
I'll give the movie this: the ending gives a complete feeling but leaves plenty of room for suspense.
However, even if you are looking for a cheesy movie with unintentional laughs, I recommend you look somewhere else. This movie isn't so much "funny cheesy" as it is "boring cheesy". And "boring cheesy" isn't entertaining.
I only recommend this movie if you are a total die-hard to the Jason series. But even then, you might not want to see it, because Jason only makes the briefest appearance at the end.
