Great Documentary!
25 May 2006
This was a great documentary with intriguing characters, many of whom are not referred to in other Elvis docs. It shows how many individuals were truly affected by this well know icon. The original music compliments the interviews well. A great mix of past and up to date influences by this great celebrity who's impact still lives on for many. The home town feel is definitely present. Although, not all affects were completely positive, the respect for Elvis definitely comes through in most cases. His affects are still day to day for some,

and residual but strong in memory for others. The documentary was enhanced by the filming and editing which flowed nicely from interview to interview interspersed with original photos that were wonderful.

Excellent short with acting quickly reaching the emotions of the viewer.

excellent short. It left me wanting to see more about these 3 characters. Haley Mills has always been a favorite of mine and she had excellent chemistry with the other two actors. I was impressed with how quickly the film conger-ed up emotions. This was obviously due to the excellent writing as well as the convincing acting delivered by these three women. The directing also needs to be commended, not only for the interactions of the 3 stars, but also for the expressions and interactions of the supporting characters (particularly the bathroom scene with the two children). You would think they were professionals which is a difficult thing to do with children that young.
