Epic, only just the beginning.
7 April 2024
This is only book one in the Dune series, which has 25 books, of which Frank Hebert wrote 6.

Part two was grander and more intense than part one (which won six Oscars), and I'm so happy to hear that director Denis Villeneuve will be making the third and perhaps his final in the series dune messiah.

Also, HBO will be making a TV show adapted for Dune Sisterhood, which is book number 17 in the series, I believe (based on the Bene Gesserrit).

These two films inspired me to read the remaining books in the series, which I will do. I hope Warner and the legendary company continue making these films and make them of quality like the first two.

If you are deciding to watch Dune, honestly, stop with the wait and watch Dune 1 and 2 immediately.

Better than the Sequels 8/10
19 November 2023
This movie was better than the original prequels. It had great visuals and was more mature than the sequels. It was a great casting, and the storyline flowed throughout the movie. At first, I thought the music was a bit cheesy, but it kept the film together. The music and singing were excellent.

It wasn't long or short; they did an excellent job with this prequel. Usually, prequels are worse than sequels, but I could enjoy and be invested in this one. The main characters were great, and there was a depth of emotion in the film. Hopefully, they will continue with this prequel lineup; there's more story to tell here...

The Bear (2022– )
10/10
Addictive, easily binge-watched 2 seasons in a busy week.
22 October 2023
It's very rare these days to come across a great feel-good TV show without the cringiness or bad acting, The Bear is one of them!

  • great acting, you notice the characters, not the actors.

  • great direction, sound & music.

  • heartfelt, realistic.

  • relatable characters.

  • quick-paced storytelling.

  • emotional (all raw emotions)

What I enjoyed the most was being on a journey with each character. I hope there's a season 3. The writers did an amazing job and the show is hilariously funny at times. The show also can inspire you, whether you're down to lift you up. Watching it was a fresh of air.

This is one of the shows you add to your must-watch before you die list.

Good not Great, Too quick paced :/
17 April 2023
Seven Kings Must Die,

Only leaving a review as I am a huge Last Kingdom fan. I wish this movie were a mini tv series rather than a movie, as it was too fast-paced, and major events were happening one after another. The ending was great hence seven stars. Otherwise, I would have given it a lower rating.

I feel like if it was a two-hour-long plus movie, they could have had the ability to add suspense and emotion.

But the overall decent movie, acting superb as usual from the actors. The script was great as usual. I will miss this trilogy.

Seven kings must die - 7/10.

The Last Kingdom - 10/10.

okay film to watch nothing special.
20 February 2023
After watching this movie, I'm glad I was around and was enjoying watching Marvel at its best. (Phases One to Three). Everything now and moving forward is just going downhill, production, acting, script, direction, and storytelling. This movie was okay nothing spectacular, again great for kids/teens these days so perhaps they may enjoy it more. Ant-man the original was a far better, relatable film with a really good storyline.

I did enjoy the humour in this film, didn't feel like your typical marvel humour which was good to see, but everything else was just mehhh okay I guess, I don't want to use the word boring.

I rarely leave reviews
12 May 2022
I am a potter fan and rarely leave reviews.

This movie was so boring honestly, extremely weak and predictable plot.

Honestly just skim through the movie if you have to watch it.

First two fantastic beasts films were okay.

I understand nothing will match or come near the OG potter films. But cmon this film was dead from the start.

I'm so glad I didn't waste my money and watch it in cinemas. Watched it at home even then I couldn't watch it in one sitting, watched it over 3 days as I had better things to do with my time.

And I don't feel sorry for Disney for loosing J Depp, show no loyalty - why should he ever come back? Major loss for Disney, his the reason why some of your franchises continue. RIP pirates of the Caribbean and RIP fantastic beats RIP Alice in wonderland!
