It's pretty much right on. Gotham did a fantastic job of creating the Batman universe...this isn't even close.

It is very well produced, but every aspect of this show is tilted for the left and against the right. From the way the interviews are conducted, to the comments of the analysts, to even how the crowds at rallies are shot and scored.

Banshee (2013–2016)

Almost everthing you've read or heard is true

The story is unbelievable. The action, fights (some of the best choreographed fights ever in any medium), sex, language are all WAY over the top, sometimes to the point of ridiculousness. But that is what set this show apart from anything else on television and what makes it so worth watching. Is it for everyone? Probably not. But the characters...the good ones and the bad ones (and most of the main ones are a little of both) are all outstanding as are the actors that portray them. I watched Banshee from the first airing and it instantly became one of my favorite shows ever and at the end of each episode I couldn't wait for the next. If you are a fan of 80's & 90's action movies then this is a show you need to watch.

Game of Thrones (2011–2019)

Outstanding show

I didn't start watching until earlier this year. I can't say exactly why as it had all of the elements of movies or shows I normally like. Maybe I had too much going on at the time it began. Maybe it was because there was so much hype that I didn't think it could live up to it. But I just finished season 4 and I have to say all of the accolades are well deserved. Everything about this series...the cast, the complexity of the storytelling and how seamlessly it flows, the drama, the action, the cinematography...is amazing. I can't wait to watch seasons 5-7 before the final one airs.

FBI (2018– )

Started pretty shaky, but is much improved

I was ready to write this show off after 2 episodes, but I glad I didn't. Someone must have heard all of the negative comments (mostly between me and my wife) around Sela Ward's and Jeremy Sisto's characters and how everything they did and said was WAY over the top. Starting in episode 3 they dialed their acting way back and the dialogue became more realistic and their actions more convincing.

I originally started watching this show because of Missy Peregrym (loved her in Reaper and Rookie Blue) and I really like the chemistry between agents Bell and Zidan, but after the firsts 2 episodes I didn't think it would last 1/2 a season. Now I really hope it has a long run.

Not so much for the movie, but for some of the reviews. This isn't the worst movie ever, but as has been mentioned by others,if you care about plot, plausibility, physics, then this is definitely not for you. Are the action stunts good? Yes. Is there any way any of them could ever happen in reality? No way. The fight scenes are good, but again, the Rock and Jason Statham have now been granted Captain America/Black Panther levels of strength, speed and agility. I'm usually pretty generous in rating action flicks as I like to be entertained, but I also expect that the action in those movies to exist within whatever realm they take place in. The previous F&F movies established this realm, but this one seems to think it it exists on some other plane. As for the reviewers giving this movie a 10, most seem to be written by the same person at the IRS who has been trying to get in touch with me for the past 2 or 3 years because I am in great trouble and will be prosecuted to the full extent of law if I not respond.
