Kate has been criticized immensely for her behavior towards then-husband Jon and alleged obsession with being famous at the cost of her kids. I've always tried to give her the benefit of the doubt - everybody makes mistakes and we're all human right? I found myself feeling SO sorry for Kate's friends that somehow, some way agreed to join Kate and her kids for this trip. Kate was an absolute bitch the entire time. The sad part is, Kate's negative ways seem to be rubbing off on her children - at least the older 2. I'm not surprised that the one friend left - she deserves a medal for staying as long as she did. If this is the way Kate treats friends then I find it surprising that she has any. To Ashley and, I'm sorry I forget the other friend's name - you girls rock and you were the ones that made this trip as fun as possible for the kids. Kudos to you both!
