Expend4bles (2023)
Horrible film in every way
I just can't wrap my head around how this thing made it past the writing phase. Seriously, it's like one of the worst things I've ever laid my eyes on. I mean, why on earth did even dudes like Statham sign up for this? Plus, there's basically zero plot. Feels like they just tossed in a bunch of action scenes to call it a movie. And don't get me started on the CGI-it's cringeworthy. I'm left scratching my head, wondering how they blew a hundred million dollars on this mess. It's a train wreck in terms of screenplay, acting, casting, direction, you name it.
And don't even get me started on how some senior actors got roped into this. It's mind-boggling how some of these folks just cash in for a paycheck. This has got to be one of Stallone and Statham's worst performances.
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
Dont over think - It's a good film.
I watched this with usual expectation that we all expect from Tom and Christopher McQuarrie. It's a well balanced film that shows each characters in other dimensions. It's one of those films really hard to explain in words it must be watched in cinemas. What makes this stand out from other MI films is this one does not have a defined villain that Ethan Hunt is fighting. It's more of a back story to the final installment (Perhaps). The best part of this MI7 is that - All the support character are big part of the film. Meaning each characters are carrying the storyline in many ways. It's not a Ethan film... Everyone plays well defined rolls.. and for a MI film very funny indeed.
