Autumn Dreams (2015)
I liked it!!
I liked this, and that's a rarity for Hallmark movies. Why did I like it? Choosing the cast is admirable and well thought of, which is also a rarity for Hallmark movies. The actors who played young Colin and Jill have some resemblance to the mature characters, even the actor who plays Jill's mother has some resemblance to "her daughter".
Colin Egglesfield's performance was also admirable, he's perfected playing the role of the country boy who wants to prove himself to his old flame, Jill Wagner is one of my favorite Hallmark actors, and she didn't disappoint here.
As a Hallmark movie, the usual cliches are present, but the story was sweet and interesting.
Very, Very, Valentine (2018)
A Cute Story
This was a new, not typical Hallmark movie, The story of friends to lovers can be detected from the first scene between Helen and Henry. The development of the story was nice, and the love triangle wasn't unbelievable.
The actors were chosen well for their parts, this was the only movie were I didn't think that Danica McKellar acting was awkward, and Cameron Mathison was great -as always-. But the surprise was in Damon Runyan, his role is usually portrayed in a bad way, but in this movie he was -almost- a likable character, he even teared up at the breakup scene.
All of the above doesn't mean it was a perfect movie, it was in some aspects your usual typical Hallmark movie.
Love Served Here (2023)
Better Than Hallmark Movies
I loved the story, it was creative and wasn't the typical plots we are used to for this genre. The actors were good, especially Eva Tavares, she was so vibrant and did her role justice. The supporting roles were nice too, and the ending was nice.
The best part about this production company -Reel One Entertainment- is how clean their movies are, and that they are agenda free.
This is -so far- the best romantic comedy that I have watched for this year, hopefully Reel One Entertainment will come up with more movies like this one, because this company is my go to since I stopped watching Hallmark movies.
Snow Bride (2013)
Funny.
The plot was nice, the chemistry was good. there was no awkwardness between the two main characters and there weren't many cliches in the movie. It's probably the best Hallmark movie for Katrina Law, and the same goes for Jordan Belfi, I can't remember seeing them doing better -or any other- Hallmark movie.
A Time to Dance (2016)
Emotional Hallmark
One of the best from Hallmark movies. Rekindling a romance is one of my favorite plots both in books and movies and Karen Kingsbury is one of my favorite romance authors. the story is very emotional and a lot of couples could relate to. The two leading actors were great, Jennie Garth was so convincing, and Dan Payne is one of a few Hallmark stars that have the needed chemistry for his roles. Hallmark doesn't always get it right, but this was one of these few times they did. I watched it more than once.
Me Before You (2016)
Loved it.
I loved the plot and the characters. It's the kind of movies that stays with you long after you watch it. Even though i don't agree with the "Mercy killing" concept but this movie was so full of emotions that you end up feeling the pain and joy of its characters. Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin were amazing, Lou or Clark's(Emilia Clarke) character was very easy to relate to and no women in her right mind wouldn't fall in love with Will(Sam Claflin). I also couldn't help falling in love with William's father (Charles Dance) and Lou's father (Brendan Coyle). This movie was not just another "love story" it makes you think about life and death, it's highly recommended and you'll want to watch it again.
Grimm (2011)
Started Out Great But Went Bad
I really loved this show, up until the point where Adalind sleeps with nick as Juliet, what was that, and the outcome of this ,so unnecessary addition, was horrible, it felt like a teenager is taking over the writing. season 4 started good, but there was the loss of chemistry between David Giuntoli and Bitsie Tulloch, which could be fixed by killing off Juliet and replace her with anyone, anyone but Adalind, that is. I really wanted to continue watching this show ,but i had to stop at the ridiculous discovery of Adalind new pregnancy. Monroe, Rosalee and the AWESOME Jacqueline Toboni (AKA Trubel) and last but not least Damien Puckler (Meisner) are my favorite characters, they were all great in every episode.
Crown for Christmas (2015)
Great movie ruined
Great movie ruined A story of a struggling woman trying to provide for her family, she "accidentally" lands a dream job which will eventually lead to a dream marriage. This would've been the best movie among the 2015 Hallmark Christmas movies, the plot was good the director did an amazing job and the settings were beautiful, the acting was great too, i was thrilled to see Rupert Penry-Jones, everyone did a great job except Danica McKellar, she obviously overacted her role and that ruined the whole movie for me. Other than that it was a good movie and i liked it, it wasn't perfect but it wasn't bad either, the kind that you watch it once but never again.
Merry Matrimony (2015)
Good but not great
After a marathon of hallmark Christmas movies, which started so early in June, this one was by far the best among them, so far. the fresh faces was a nice change and the chemistry wasn't bad. Like every Hallmark Christmas movie this one have the romance along with the Christmas spirit, but unlike the other movies i didn't roll my eyes at the ending scene, which i've been doing a lot lately after watching every hallmark Christmas movie for this year. The story line was nice but predictable, the acting was good and the the proposal scene was perfect because it didn't end with a long kiss while a bunch of people cheering and give the happy couple a big applause. I watched it once and i don't feel like watching it again.
