Les Misérables (2018)
Nice
I liked the series a lot, an awful lot, I'd give it an 8 if 9 of in wasn't for the sake of all the snowflakes degrading it because of 'my scary black man'. Assuming, and this is not to wild of an assumption' that creatures like this who went mental haven't read the book: Javert is a gipsy i. The boom, which is as much or even more of a paria than a black person in this time period. I really enjoyed the acting and the placing of the characters in the placing and was ecstatic to be able to see a
redention of Hugo's masterpiece without any singing. The acting was great and the scenery was exquisite, grand display of how an era peace should be.
Hvor kragerne vender (2021)
Lazy, uninspired and toothless
This movie wants to show the contrast between urban and countryside life but never gets any further than the most basic of clichés. The start is pretty alright but it soon devolves into a story that you could predict from the second act. The reconciliation between the main character and her former bully is fully out of the blue and seems to stem from the directors unwillingness or incapability to show a true conflict or let the audience feel uncomfortable. A shame since Danish movies usually excel at that trope. Overall a waste of time. Do not recommend.
