Dark Matter (2015–2017)

The show is just getting better and better...

I am big fan of SG1, Farscape and Firefly. Unfortunately nobody makes such sci-fi operas now days...But, let's get to the point. Every time a new show hits the screen, it is automatically compared to the few mentioned above, and it fails! Yes it fails and it should fail direct comparison! You can not just make second Farscape or Stargate, you can only make a good sequel or spin-off. The first few episodes of Dark Matter looked a little bit childish, but ware somehow different! And then come some good episodes like seven, eight and ten. We see how the plot and the acting are just getting better and better. The show some needed time to mature. It is a common symptom of many shows - Fringe is a recent example.

Farscape (1999–2003)

The experience is more than real.

Not only John Crichton is lost in the distant part ot the Universe. Watching the movie you feel like you ware there, together. Everything, the living ship, the aliens are made to look so different, even beyond the imagination, but somehow they are also realistic and lovely. I have been grown up with StarWars and Blake's -7. I used to think I will never enjoy another sci-fi move so much again, but I was wrong. Farscape is much better than all I have seen before. If you decide to watch it, please, start from the beginning!

You will never find the "way home" if you miss the first wormhole...
