A Maple Valley Christmas (2022)
Did not like the female lead or her sister characters
Really was looking forward to watching this, but it was disappointing. The female lead was overbearing, but I thought the sister was a witch so I didn't care about either one or for the ultimate outcome of the story. They couldn't work together because of their personalities and their mother did nothing to help the situation.
The premise was slightly different for a Hallmark movie, but it just didn't have any holiday magic or romance for that matter. I think that after so many years of pumping out Christmas movies, the well is running dry. The impressive Gold Crown movies of long ago with the quality acting and stories is sadly in the past. I find I like some of the Lifetime and GAC movies more.
Two and a Half Men: Squab, Squab, Squab, Squab, Squab (2005)
My favorite episode
This one never gets old.I just noticed for the first time after viewing it multiple times how much spaghetti there is on the couch. Considering the bulk of it hit Jake behind the couch, it seems like it's too much. Still a hilarious episode even though Jake was uncharacteristically mean in this one. The next episode "Does this smell funny to you?" is almost as funny.
