The Conjuring (2013)
8/10
Amazing, Great

Wow... This movie was just - wow. In the theater I was in, a few groups of people left because it was terrifying. I have never been frightened from movies as much as others are, but I was scared during this movie. During parts where it got loud, I was laughing because other people would thrash in fear. It's like a roller-coaster. An adrenaline rush. The horror never stops throughout the film, it keeps going constantly. very unique. Not just a bunch of scares, but also, a creepy feeling it gives you. Not to mention it's a true story, which makes it a lot better in my eyes. Great acting and great scripts. I'd watch this movie again anytime.

Ed Gein (2000)
6/10
Pretty good, in my taste

I give this film a 6 because I found it "okay" I would give it a 5 for the average vote, but I actually liked it better myself. It is a very slow pace movie, takes place in one area, and is a reenactment of the crimes Ed Gein committed. I would watch it again to pass time. It revealed the childish side of Ed Gein and how he depended on his mother. It really gave a different view on his crimes and the thought behind them. I have been trying to find films on serial killers and murderers and although this didn't get a great review, it is good to pass time and won't bore you (well, not me, anyways) to tears. Here is my 5th grade review.

Good, Great

If you're expecting a movie, I wouldn't say you found the right film. This is more of a documentary. I liked this a lot because I learned some stuff that I didn't know. Of course, I'd like to verify the things I've learned just in case they're not 100% spot on. But it is entertaining and educational nonetheless. The Manson Murders have fascinated me ever since I started to learn, and the book shown inside the film, titled 'Helter Skelter', is a book I am looking forward to purchasing. I give this film a 7 because I learned from it and absorbed information from it, but I couldn't give it a 9 or a 10 because at times it felt a little too slow pace. But that's just me. I would have liked to see more Charles Manson, but others, like yourselves, might not want to. If not, this is your film. Again, pretty good film. Not the best, not the worst. Good.Educational.

Amanda Knox (2011 TV Movie)
7/10
Pretty good

This film was pretty well done. I do think they could have picked better people for some of the roles, but overall, good acting. Pretty good scripts and a good movie to sit down and engage yourself in. A good movie just to have on in the background while you're doing the dishes or cooking. This case is so fascinating to me, I really cannot say that it was a dull film. It was interesting the whole time and I felt I was part of the film. That I wasn't just watching, but I was connecting with Amanda Knox and feeling her pain. I cringe at some parts because they seem so painful to deal with. I give it a 7 because of these reasons, and because I know it could have been better.
