Warning: Spoilers
I only watched this movie because I am a fan of Sterling Knight. With that being said, I'm also a fan of Cinderella stories. While I did enjoy the plot of this film, I couldn't get into some of the scenes because the acting really wasn't that great. I was also a little disappointed that we didn't get to see Sterling Knight sing. Isn't he supposed to be a pop star in this film?? Ashlee Hewitt has a beautiful voice and I really enjoyed the scenes where she sang.

Overall it was a good movie and I'm still a big fan of Sterling Knight (thought he was great in it), but it is not a movie I'd buy on DVD to watch again.

Not a movie for kids or teenagers
9 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I was rather bored during the first half of the movie, and I was not expecting the amount of nudity that it obtained. I don't recommend that teenagers under the age 17 see this movie, as there is a pretty graphic sex scene within the movie.

Once the superheroes came out of hiding, I was immediately drawn in. The special effects used were awesome, especially during the mars scenes. I was pretty mesmorized during the second mars scene, when Miss Jupiter is convincing Mr. Manhattan to fight with her. I am not sure what they were flying around mars on, but it was pretty cool.

The costumes were very good for this movie, so the costume designer did an extremely great job.

All in all, this is a pretty good movie and I would recommend that you see this movie.

Not as bad as expected
5 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I read several reviews for this movie that weren't very good, so I had no desire to see it. It was on HBO recently and I decided to give it a shot. The movie is not as bad as I would have thought. It definitely has it's moments, but don't all movies.

It was hard to get into the movie and really follow. It wasn't until the grave yard scene that I really started paying attention. The story really picked up from there, and I just had to find out if the treasure was really where they thought it would be. I saw the scene in the trailer where McConaughey's character says that he learned to fly from watching Playstation and the full scene in the movie is more comical and makes me laugh every time. It makes you wonder though if flying a plane in real life is anything like the video games.

Even though the movie didn't start off quite that great, it still was worth it to see because you just can't deny the great on screen chemistry between Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.

Another Cinderella Story (2008 TV Movie)

Wonderful modern day Cinderella Story
4 March 2009
This was a wonderful modern twist on the typical Cinderella story. This story was more about a girl striving to accomplish her dreams with the Cinderella aspect thrown in. Although most people think this is a sequel to A Cinderella Story, it is not. It really is just Another Cinderella Story.

The dances moves or scenes were great and I have to say that I loved the performance of New Classic at the end. It is definitely one of my favorite scenes. It was also refreshing that the main characters (Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley) really had a great chemistry on screen.

Jane Lynch adds the comical relief to the movie. Her character has her serious moments, but most of the time you are let wondering "what" or at least I was left thinking that during some of her lines or comments, because they were just so far out there. I did enjoy the Baby Got Back Commerical though, that was very funny. It still makes me laugh every time. They couldn't have cast anyone better to play the role of the step mother, in a sense she was the step mother.

Could have been better
18 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
After reading the book and watching the movie, I was extremely disappointed. There was a connection between Bella and Edward in the book that I did not see on screen. The relationship between Bella and Edward was rushed, one minute they are introducing themselves to each other and the next they cannot live without each other. You did not see the relationship between them develop at all.

I imagined a very different version of Bella then what was portrayed in the movie. I am sure Kristen Stewart is a wonderful actress (I personally have not seen many of her films if any), but I don't think she was the right choice for Bella.

Stephanie Meyer described the vampires as being impossibly fast and strong, but I didn't really see that in the film. Everything felt extremely rushed, and scenes from the book were not included that should have been included.

And I have to say what is with the hospital scene I still have to laugh every time I watch it. Kristen Stewart is forcing it way too much. Isn't she supposed to be stopping the one she cannot live without from leaving her? We certainly don't see that, it looks more like struggling to remember her lines.

The cast they choose for the Cullen Family is great, and they couldn't have done better. Some of the other characters however, they could have searched a little longer for.

The Reality Show Ever!!
17 January 2005
This show is about helping others and giving to others who are less fortunate. it is about giving a family a second chance. I think that ABC has a great show with Extreme Makeover Home Edition. The show is about heart and giving to others and giving families in need a second chance, about giving families an environment that makes it safe for them to live in. This show makes me want to go out and help as many people as I can, and really make a difference. If you don't like this show, then you have no heart and you really don't care about helping others who really need it.

Ty motivates and pushes the team and reminds them why they are doing what they are doing. He reminds them on each and every house that they are there for the family. He is the heart of the team. He does help where it is needed, and if you really watched the show, then you would know that. I love Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and I hope they continue to do what the they each and every show.
