Killing Eve: A Rainbow in Beige Boots (2022)
Everyone is out of character
I think part of what made this show so succesfull and what I personally liked the most was Eve and Villanelle's chemistry and the way that they kind of had an obsession with eachother, but without it it just isn't that interesting. Also Villanelle would never wear those clothes and just be fine with it, and she definitely would work harder to live a nice life cause we've learned she likes nice things. It just doesn't make any sense how Villanelle is so obsessed with Eve now, when it was her own idea that they should stay away from eachother. And can someone explain why Eve hates Villanelle so much now?? It's like it just came out of nowhere, she has always had an obsession with her, and now it's like her character has completely changed. I don't even know if I care enough now to watch the ending.
DC Super Hero Girls (2019)
Likeable
It's a cute series, I like the messages and the themes, my only problem is that I wish it wasn't episodic and that the stories were more connected like the first 3 episodes. It's also really loud a lot of the times but I can live with it.
Disenchantment (2018)
Boring, boring and more boring.
All the stories have been done before, and it's hard to like a show with such an annoying main character. The main character is just a drunk, she's lazy and spoiled, and all she does is complain. The only likable person is the demon, and we never even get to see him in depth. The elf is annoying, and of course a cliché is added about him having feelings for the main character, really unnecessary and frankly nobody is rooting for them to be together. I'm not disappointed, I didn't have high expectations for this show. Would not recommend.
Home (2015)
Underrated
I have absolutely NO idea why people were so disappointed with this movie. I've watched this movie a couple of times now, and all of the times I smiled a lot and cried when it got serious(which it did like 1 time). The music choice fits the movie, the lead role voices fits perfectly if you ask me, Jim Parsons voice makes this movie 10 times more fun. Why were people so disappointed? I'm actually really confused, because to me this movie was really cute and enjoyable. I really think people should give it a chance and that they're over exaggerating. C'mon, it's a movie for kids, chill out. I'm an adult and I can proudly say I enjoyed this movie. Stop expecting so much from kids movies. Would recommend, you'll definitely feel happier after watching this.
Gilmore Girls (2000)
It's not that bad, but not that great either
I started watching this show over half a year ago, and I'm still not done. Why? Because it's simply just not a show you can cling on to. I get it, this isn't a crazy show with wild stories, but it can still drive you mad if you watch too much at a time. Personally I find Rory dull and not a very exciting character, considering she's the lead role, but I do love the rest of the characters, especially Lorelai and Luke. I just think more could've been done with this show. I especially think Rory could've had a little more personality and I wish she'd act like an actual teenager so that she's relatable, but she's not in any way. She has boys running after her and got accepted into Yale, Princeton and Harvard. No way is that realistic in any way for any teenage girl. The writers made her life too easy, and that makes it immediately boring. I wouldn't really recommend this show to anyone who has too big of a personality.
Rick and Morty (2013)
Good but not great
It's a good show, it's funny. But I have to admit that I didn't like the newest season as much as the others. Season 1 and 2 were funny and simple, but it gets too complex in season 3
How I Met Your Mother (2005)
Ending completely destroyed the whole story
I love this show. It has humor and a great storyline. Barney is one hell of a character. They use a whole season to show Barney and Robins wedding, and in the end they use 1 episode to show everything that happens after. Ted's wife is apparently dead, and we never even got to know her properly. All of a sudden Lily is pregnant again?? Without any warning we find out that the group is not even friends anymore? The whole show builds up to the fact that we're supposed to ship Barney and Robin, and in the end they get a divorce? Just so Ted can get together with her, because he has apparently always been in love with her?? Was he still in love with her when he was together with his wife?? What a jerk. If I could change anything, it would be the ending. It's like a big middle finger in your face after watching 9 good seasons. No thanks.
