The Menu (2022)
The reason why I love cinema
This movie is the reason why I love the art of movies and the real artists are the people that express their art in their own capacities. Like actors, directors, story tellers, etc. They have poured their heart and soul in presenting this masterpiece and masterpiece it is. The moment the actual movie starts inside the restaurant till the time it ends, the viewers are left glued to the screen. And this is art because the entire movie is shot inside one room so imagine the attention to details and the tension building through tony intricate details that allow this to happen. The director and the actors deserve a lot of praise for this. This movie will stay with you long after it ends.
Uncut Gems (2019)
UNCUT GEMS, man.... Where do I start
This movie is a masterpiece, it will have a cult following.
All these idiots can go watch a slow and boring movie, who can't take a movie that is so engaging and that just draws you in right from the start till the very end. Its like a roller coaster ride, sometimes its up and other times its down but oh boy, its a non-stop ride for sure. The movie is on the life of Howard who loves the thrill but doesn't know that. You will know that very soon in the movie.
Hats off to the directors!
Sound of Metal (2019)
A coming to terms with the changing wind kinda movie
This movie deals with the character development and the underlying issues, fears and overcoming them in a very organic and natural kind of way. Good flick!
Wrath of Man (2021)
Intense and dark but in a good way
Loved every minute of it, there's a certain thrill that keeps you glued. This is how action movies should be made. Statham and Richie have done it once again. Its a classic.
Sardar Ka Grandson (2021)
Its a nice sweet movie
Why is everyone here behaving like Einstein and trying to be very precise? Its a very sweet movie, people hating this have no soul. Seriously, what's wrong with people?
Mere Pyare Prime Minister (2018)
A rare gem
Wow, I watched this movie on netflix with no expectations and I was blown away by the story. Such a beautiful movie with a soul of its own. Goes on to show that you dont need a ton of budget but only a good script to make a good movie. I am shocked to see that only a handful of people have reviewed this here which means that not many people saw this while a lot of bad commercial movies get shoved down the throats of mass audiences. Such a shame.
This movie is among the best movies I have ever seen (and I have watched 900 plus movies in different languages by now)
Suspiria (1977)
Makes me want to question the ratings here
Those who say this movie is one of the best ever, seriously guys, WHAT STUFF ARE YOU ON?? Seems like grade A stuff. This movie is pathetic beyond any standard. I have given 1 star because there is no rating in negative.
Upgrade (2018)
Wow, not often that I rate a movie 10/10
This movie just blew me away with how good and intelligent the plot is, from start to finish. True work of art, the maker is a genius. No more words to praise this enough!
Tron: Legacy (2010)
Its brilliant, why the low ratings?
Users rating here are so stupid with their ratings, what's wrong with everyone?
This movie was way ahead of its time in 2010, amazing. Loved every bit of it.
Tamasha (2015)
A cult classic
This movie is a diamond in the dirt. Diamond being the movie itself and dirt being the negative reviews. They will never understand good cinema because their definition of cinema itself is based on a cliché. I feel sorry for the people who can't understand this movie, they can't understand life... so I'm not surprised.
Shukranu (2020)
Pathetic overacting
This is such a miserable watch... these actors and directors need to wake up in this century and realise that gone are the days when such scripted and bundle overacted cinema used to work. They want to show the old time but their clothes and looks say otherwise. The acting is so bad, even tv serials look better. Avoid at all costs.
Mother's Day (2010)
Only torture and no light at the end of the tunnel
I dont understand why do directors wanna show sad movies with no hope. I like movies of this genre but not pointless movies which do not give any hope to the viewer. The director had a personal liking to the negative characters which is why they have been the luckiest. Story sucks!
Laila Majnu (2018)
A classic masterpiece
So under rated, deserves awards and praises. Should be a cult classic.
Cheap Thrills (2013)
Entertaining and engaging
Shows the true nature of human greed and I like movies which keep you glued, never a dull moment.
Freaky (2020)
Very average
Very average flick and seemed to be sort of stretched out in the end. The plot is so cliché high school drama and predictable. Its an average watch, can be skipped if you have high expectations.
Tere Bin Laden (2010)
A cult classic
This movie is a classic masterpiece of hilarious flicks! Watch it for the lols.
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari (2020)
A decent one time watch, will make you laugh for sure
Please watch it as a light hearted movie, will not disappoint. Some of the reviewers here were expecting this to be oscar winning material 😄
Its a nice movie, give it a watch.
Darbaan (2020)
A coming of age story
An honest story told in a poetic and beautiful way.
A must watch.
Beyond the Clouds (2017)
A hidden gem
I watched this one with no expectations and I was surprised by the true good cinema.
Klaus (2019)
A world where good still exists
This is such a sweet and intelligently written plot. As the plot progresses, you start to connect all the dots related to the Christmas and Santa traditions but it is done in a very quirky way. There is never a dull moment in this flick and if this movie doesn't move you then you have a stone in your chest.
Tenet (2020)
Blown away by the sheer intelligence that went in the making
I am not shocked that this movie gets all the flake because its so complex to understand because you dont fully have all the answers to your questions until the very end of the movie but when it comes together, this movie is a masterpiece on a whole different level. Only Christopher Nolan can pull something like this off. Lucky to be alive in his time of movie making.
Taken 2 (2012)
The Sequel lives up to its prequel
I usually don't write out reviews but for this one I am writing because there are so many negative remarks on this one. I don't know why. If you loved the first one then you'll adore this one. The people criticizing about the action by his daughter in the movie are funny because if you actually watch the movie, it is all convincing. The story and the plot makes perfect sense according to the movie and it surprises you every now and then just when you get your hopes high.
The movie kept me engaged from starting to end. The plot is very intelligent and the action is amazing as usual. I liked it and don't have a single point where the movie lets you down.
If you haven't done so already, watch this one! Its gonna be a 90 minutes fun ride. Go For It!
