Star Trek: The Next Generation: Qpid (1991)
easily one of the best comedic episodes of the series!
I am shocked so many people regard this episode as lowly as they do. Forget the nonstop laughs, that we get to once again experience the dynamic between Jean Luc and Vash is reason enough to celebrate. Vash *kills it* in this episode. The way she effortlessly floats through her introduction to the rest of the senior crew is a riot! Her and Beverly's meeting and how it made Picard choke on his words was priceless.
It's moments like that that remind me of just how rewarding it is to go watch this series in its entirety. By this point we are so familiar with these characters and yet they still come up with new ways to surprise and delight us!
This episode is a treat and I am so glad it exists.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga: Saturday Nite (2021)
ascending!
I've watched this episode 4 times now. The shared sense of elated ascension along with the exceptional music & performances makes this such a fantastic ep! This show is so good!!!
The Tomorrow War (2021)
expensive, dumb, entertaining-ish
It was okay. Good cgi dumb story.. fine movie to half pay attention to.
Pose: The Trunk (2021)
The ballroom scene.. wow
Possibly my new favorite episode of the series. This season is giving me so many feelings.
Harley Quinn (2019)
I was extremely surprised
I don't really go in for comic boy stuff but I absolutely loved this show. It went in unexpected directions, made me laugh (a lot), and had me falling pretty hard for some of the characters. The rating isn't a lie. Watch this show!
Giri/Haji (2019)
great chatachers, great chemistry, overall great
Every main character was fun to watch and they all had pretty strong chemistry. I thoroughly enjoyed following this story. There were moments here and there that felt a less than 10 out of 10 but I still say it was wonderful over all. Im a generous reviewer but 9 out 10!
Ready Player One (2018)
idiotic
This adaptation hurt my brain. I hated it. Idk what to say except it was moronic. I don't think the book is adaptable. u g h
I imagine kids will get a kick out of it though. So I guess there's at least that
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Let He Who Is without Sin... (1996)
I dont get the hate here
Yeah Worf did something that, to me, seemed a little out of character. But we were given some great Dax/Worf interactions that really fleshed out their characters. I feel like Dax has really come into her own in season 4 & 5.
Don't let the sub 6 rating discourage you. If you like Dax and/or Worf then you'll enjoy it.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Search, Part II (1994)
Easily the greatest episode of DS9 up to this point.
Wow, the writing on the episode relative to everything i've seen in this series prior really caught my attention. No spoilers, if you are in the first and second season of DS9 and feeling indifferent I urge you to stick it out until at least this episode.
