A movie for all dog lovers....especially chihuahua's...
11 October 2008
I wonder how many people would be able to create a movie with animals talking? Since we have a little dog that looks like the one in the movie I couldn't believe how well all those little dogs performed especially the German Sheperd. The scenery, the plot, and the animation was really good. We laughed and we cried at this movie. When we got home I expected my little dog to start talking to me...Well he just sat there and looked sad because we had been gone so long. He goes everywhere with us and is a very fine little partner. We had never had a chihuahua before and had no idea how neat they can be for a pet. Ours is a combination dog but looks just like a chihuahua. Good to the children and friendly to people. It is refreshing to go to a movie that is exciting, clean in words and has the good and the evil being beaten out. A kids and adult movie that everyone can enjoy. We liked it and would go see it again...

Fireproof (2008)
Both my husband and I found the story very helpful.

In today's families there are so many things that can interfere with a couples relationship. I had no idea what this movie was about and we went just because... I realized that in our own family there is a situation between a young couple who are on the brink of divorce. We have recommended this movie to this couple. It can open eyes as to what each can do to help each other correct attitudes and change patterns. We are very glad we went to see this very well presented episode of two people who needed help. It was a personal blessing to both of us. There was an older neighbor who was especially funny in the movie. PLus some of the real dangerous places firemen find themselves saving people. It is not for children because it would bore them. Leave them with grandma and take the time to go and see this movie.

Evan Almighty (2007)
It is time to laugh!!!
25 July 2007
We had no clue what we where about to see when we went to see "Evan Almighty." If you enjoy humor and want to see a movie that is full of humor, go see this movie...we laughed so much that the mascara rolled down my face and my husbands handkerchief was all wet with tears.

There is no bad language, no violence, no sexual scenes, so the family can go and see it. We could go and see it again. With so much sadness in our world, it is refreshing to see a movie that makes you laugh. Unfortunately, todays youth is filled with stuff that is not humorous, but violence and sexual scenes, not meant for young eyes to witness.

Family movies are few and far between. Movies have left out good morals and choices between good and evil. The hero coming to rescue those who need rescuing. Marriages that need to stay together and work out the issues of the day. Thank you for "Evan Almighty", he became a hero and his family stayed together!!!

A vote for the King...

What a great movie .... well done, good acting, and it has a message for the young and older people. A refreshing turn to see a film that has meaning and life. Not only for those in the olden days, as well as for all of us today...Thank you to those who made this film come to life!!! With the violence and bad language in todays movies this film is a cut above those films that leave a bad taste in your mouth. It is great to see well known actors who are apart of this movie. Seasoned and well known for their excellence. The costumes where also beautiful and the scenery was also very well done. I hope many will go and see this special film and enjoy it as much as we did. Families can see it together.

Good Luck (1996)

When the movie company came to our town, requests where made for the people in our community to participate. I went to try out and they accepted me as an extra. It was a week of many hours and hard work. I learned that being in a movie was not all peaches and cream. But I earned some dollars and supplied my own clothes and make up. I was able to meet the stars and have some pictures taken with them. My husband and I decided to go and see "Good Luck"...The title had been changed from "The Ox and the Eye." We where the only people in the audience. I wanted to view it to see if our grand children could see it. I think it was a flop and there was bad language. Personally, I was very disappointed and we never did take our children to see it. The good part was that I saw myself walking with my little dog "Molly" who is now gone. Plus some other scenes. So it was an adventure and let me know I am glad I am not in the movies. So much for "Good Luck."

Phenomenon (1996)

1996 was one of those years for both my husband and myself. Just after being in a movie, in our small town, my husband also landed a walk on part in this film. We got all of his clothes together and left very early in the morning to go to Auburn, which is 1/2 hour away. Gene did real well and got to sit next to Robert Duvall. He met some very nice folks during the day and evening hours. He was impressed with the positive attitudes of all of the cast and film makers. I was able to be a mouse in the corner, and watch all that was going behind the scenes. (Gene earned more dollars than I did.) We left late and arrived home at 2:30 a.m. after a very long day and evening. When we went to see this movie it was really great and I was so happy Gene got to be in this film. It was an adventure for him too. We have scene the movie 3 times and every time we like it better than before. I liked Nat Pope who was real good too. So we both where able to be in the movies and have a wonderful time, meeting some real special people.
