Shingeki no Kyojin: From You, 2000 Years Ago (2022)
IMMACULATE
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
Specially logged in here just to say I haven't been impressed by anything in so longggg! "From You, 2000 Years Ago" single handedly manages to become one of the best episodes ever made, ever! And I'm not talking anime and animation but series in general!! The work, behind it - its beyond!! Genuinely the greatest thing I've seen! I'm in awe and I'm shook, literally with flesh full of goosebumps .. I just can't get over how visually stunning it was!! Mappa gracefully putting the final nail into my coffin with that last portion of that episode.
The cinematography in those last few minutes its both intense, scary, terrifying and grand, vast and gigantic and it might, in fact, where it proves just why it can be the best episode in anime history so far I'm afraid? But let's not go there I didn't logged in here to say bring down other stuff. But they sure elevated the game
(closest thrill it gave me to Game of Thrones "Hardhome", "Beyond the Wall" and "The Long Night")
I couldn't shake the feel of these TV masterpieces in this episode)
Mr. Robot (2015)
mr Robot has suppressed any other television rn
At this point mr Robot has suppressed any other television & I'm not even exaggerating. From writing to acting to directing everything about this show is top notch. Exceptional picture, sets, color scheme & that very own Sam Esmail camera angle touch to it that makes very easily any episode a visual cinema & story on its own, especially this last season. If I'm being honest I indeed had some love/hate relationship with this show through the seasons but Sam Esmail time and time again proved himself, to me at least, and had me speechless way too many times. The whole crew too. Rami being the main carrier of the strong act, hell all of them, all of them were scary this last season but this dude deserves any award I swear! Anywaysss this is how you end a television & everybody should take notes. Sam Esmail is such a class act. Well done dude well done!
Love, Death & Robots: Zima Blue (2019)
Minimalisam at its best
I rarely ever take a time to comment something on IMBd but man oh man I had to stop and do it for this one. Its meaningful deep purpose is beyond really, presented in its minimal form as in nothing I've ever seen before. No doubt my ultimate favorite episode, hell if not cartoon ever made. I'm simply blown away. I truly appreciate the all different approach to drawings or CGI that they went in all of those episodes, but this one as far its the best for me. I was hooked immediately the moment they rolled the three squares and it just got better with every new drawing scene that passed. I SALUTE the producers on this one!
