Jack of all trades, master of none; have a habit of being in the right place, but, at the worst of times.
In some of my Past Lives I have been: A hippie, Professional Cowgirl, an extra in the TV and motion picture business, Chauffeur, and a model. Currently I'm a devout member of the House Rabbit Society (They are my little horses! Such interesting species they are!) & I've taken an interest in Horse Racing.
Unfortunately,I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Asthma several years ago and the progression has taken it's toll. Was in a wheelchair for 4 yrs. After several surgeries, I am walking now, but, wobbly and have limited use of my arms and hands. At the moment I am living vicariously by the TV/computer. Keep hoping for the best.
In the meantime, I'm desperately looking for an escape plan back to the West Coast, preferably the North West. All I can do is wait until I'm healthy enough to make a break for it. Meanwhile I continue to stagnate .... I think I am starting to smell a little ripe!

The Exorcist (1973)
Then There Was That Insane Theme Song....
The buildup for the release of this film was almost more terrifying than the film! That music of "Tinkling Bells" would come on the commercial along with that eerie movie poster of the lone preist under a street lamp, OMG! If I was alone when I heard that, I would run out of the room! People were freaking out and losing their minds to see it! Along with the Catholic Church! I was around 16 and saw it at a drive-in... sort of. I had my head buried in my boyfreind's shoulder through most of that first time around. I've seen it many times since, maybe it's just me but, I still don't get the connection of how the devil jumps from Iraq to Washington DC. And the one big fault I've always had is with Linda Blair. She is just too old for that "baby talk" dialologue in the beginning! "Oh Mommy, I saw this beautiful horse today, Can I get a horse?" It's so annoying! Is just it me?
Start the Revolution Without Me (1970)
America's Monty Python!
Finally, good old fashioned adsurdity and silliness done to the finest! (Only took me 50 yrs to find it!) I just stumbled upon this on late night TV and was thoroughly entertained! The cast plays their parts so over the top you can tell they had a riot making the film. Gene Wilder plays frenzied psyhcotic so well and Donald Sutherland can really make you feel like a peasant! The lavish locations, colorful sets, and costuming are amazing! So much attention to detail down to every extra. The production value of a historical drama, not a spoofed comedy! The absurdity of overly large hats, wide dresses and the peacock costume are hilarious on their own! Just overall fun to watch and looking forward to watching it again!
