The Judge (2014)

Easy on the head .........tugs at the heart.

I simply loved this film. Its well cast and believable. I felt the real emotions in this portrayed dysfunctional family and how it had followed into a second generation (Hanks life) so easily. The story flowed and the hrs drifted...i was saddened to see the blackness of the end credits appear. I think anyone who has fallen out or distanced themselves from their parents and suddenly realised perhaps things hadnt drifted as far as they had imagined ..........to have that second chance .......will love this story even more. The chemistry between Duvall and Downey Jnr is second to none. This is a great film which deserves to be watched and appreciated. E N J O Y

The Ropes...........Surprisingly good

I stumbled across this after looking at it 100 times before whilst flicking through Netflix and thinking "this looks rubbish" ,how wrong i was. OK its predictable but the story is fast paced with all the intricacies life can throw at you especially in the role of security. The roles are well cast and believable. Vic especially grows on you for sure. I am no word smith but i hope the few lines i write will at least encourage you to give these series a chance. Its good, honest entertainment that doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. I am sorry there isn't a series two and i hope Vin Diesel will write and produce one.
