Only Murders in the Building: Sitzprobe (2023)

Brilliant
21 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Well that was one of the fastest 40 minutes of any tv I've watched. Gripped from the first minute to the last. Excellent writing! And the Steve Martin song was the perfect ensemble with the scenes going on in the background. So so good.

It feels like we're getting close to the killer but knowing this show there's no doubt in my mind there will be another plot twist in it yet with 2 episodes in the season remaining. I'd imagine someone is still covering for someone somewhere.

Meryl Streep was the perfect person for this season and I'm loving every second of it. Not many shows are at this level on tv right now that's for sure.

What a bunch of filler
7 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode felt unnecessary. So much of it could've been left out. There's so much unnecessary written in drama and bad acting. Like why do they all get split up when the volcano ash comes down? That doesn't make any sense. There's so many of them and they just happen to pop up every now and then. Like you don't see Halbrand till the final 5 minutes. Also what happened to Isildur... he just disappears from the episode and no one tries to find him. Then you see Adar and the orcs are walking about where Isildur would've been.

Nori and the wizard still continues to be boring and we're 1 episode from the finale... there's like no character development in any of them. The wizard has awful writing thus far. He shows glimpses of magic now and again and then wonders off.

Some of the chanting dialogue just feels so forced. Are we meant to feel sorry for the queen of Numenor who just became blind?

A miracle
3 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm so glad Netflix told this story of Dahmer becoming a Christian while in prison. Yes people will critique those also in the episode who claimed to be Christians. But the love of God was shown through the saving of Dahmer for sure. This is the Gospel. That anyone can be saved at any point in their life. No one is too far gone and that no one is past the judgement of God. He will either condemn or save those who have lived and through the blood of Christ we can all know the glory of the God.

People condemn themselves when they have done bad things and Dahmer was the prime suspect for this. You either take the full force or ask for forgiveness and Jesus to pay the debt. He wanted to die and ultimately wanted a way out. It's only natural and they want to be forgiven a lot and as a result will love a lot when they are forgiven. This is why they show most change. Their life is flipped upside down. God helps those that are poor in spirit, not those that believe they don't need help or feel they are condemned. People say they want a God of Love. This is a God of Love. Not one sheep is lost for eternity.

Like a car in 2nd gear. The torque builds throughout
18 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a slow burn for the first half but once it hits the torque band boost, it's exhilarating. The battle scene was well worth the wait. Timothee Chalamet blows it out the park.

Not enough action for me
21 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Surely if you're showing Belfast in 1969/70 you need a bit more tension and thriller sense to it. It seemed too tame to me. There was very little tension and too much drama I thought. Some of the acting is good and I'm sure people get a glimpse of what it was like, but could've been more.

This movie is just annoying
24 December 2021
So much potential. Leonardo and Jonah back together. Meryl Streep as part of the cast too. Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence's character are just annoying as hell. The plot has no grip. It's repeated lines and storyline throughout. 2 hours 18 is really long for this movie... Leonardo and Cait Blanchett are great in this movie. Only reason it's not a 5.

Not bad, but not amazing
26 November 2021
This is a limited series and I'm not exactly fully gripped from the first episode. Hope it gets better but it's nothing special yet. Kevin Hart does an okay job at being dramatic in this... but don't get the storyline at all.

The M stands for Maddie
24 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What a beautifully written story that is brilliantly acted. As someone who went through domestic violence from 2 past girlfriends this hit home in quite a few spots. My relationships werent as hard hitting as a man and not a single mother but definitely caused trauma. Well done Netflix.

That last scene and quote "The M stands for Maddie" definitely pulled on a few heart strings!

Awful
24 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So predictable. The writers build up for 5 seasons to kill Tokyo in the worst way possible. Through a wall by snipers. Berlin gets a Bella Ciao and Tokyo gets some lame ballad? Ruined the series. What's the point in the last 5 episodes.

There's clear evidence that forgiveness shown to a wrongdoer will change them quicker than that of scorn and shame. A tear jerker and a story that needs to be told. Fabulous episode.

Hard to beat a Justin Timberlake movie when the script is totally on point. Ryder Allen steals the show though. Great actor with a bright future.

I'm giving a 10 purely on action
18 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I've no idea what's going on in the story and plot. I can't be the only one that has no idea what the hell is going on in every scene?

The fight scene was epic. I'm watching it at midnight which is a big regret. Proper action and detail in the cinematography.

So hard to follow. Actors are not as engaging as the first 2 seasons. Also the soundtrack has just disappeared for some reason. Not enjoying this at all

12 October 2020
This episode is so slow and it's over an hour long. The actors are not anywhere close to engaging as those in the first 2. Malvo and Mike Millinger are on different levels.

Man I love this episode so much
9 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The constant humour and seriousness was just amazing. I loved the whole comical stabbing scene and then the Indian part where he walks in with this:

Indian- "thinking of getting a hair cut." Peggy- "How do ya?" Indian- "Something professional, shorter like on the sides and back" Peggy- "Well I mean, you've got the bone structure" 😁

One of the funniest and intense episodes ever

Amazing amazing amazing
28 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I loved everything about this movie. The chemistry between the actors is great. The cast is unreal. The soundtrack is perfect. The cinematography in so many scenes just blows you away. Seriously this would've won all the awards if it was going against 1917 last year which it could've because it would've gone back in time if it was real. I love the main actors. The casting was perfect. Christopher Nolan is just a genius. It's simple. Don't try to understand the movie. Just go with it and it becomes a masterpiece

3 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
With all that is going on in America with George Floyd this was a hard watch tonight. Not being from the US this made things even more real with what is going on in America. This movie is powerful and really good! It gets across exactly what is going on on social media and real life at the minute. It's a real life documentary and is oh so important to watch.
