Houston Medical (2002)
A great show that should be brought back.
This was a great TV show that ran over the summer of 2002. It was real, followed real people and their real medical problems in a real hospital. The stories were interesting and put a face on many common medical problems that we all hear about these days. Think Life's Little Miracles, but dealing with people of all ages, both patients and staff workers.
Each episode dealt with many people, and the people's stories were often continued on into succeeding episodes. It kept you interested and wanting more... more stories from new patients, more history on the recurring patients, just more in general.
I doubt many people watched this show, as it was canceled, but I loved it and really wish it would come back on, or another show like it.

What a great show
I was little when I used to watch this show, probably under 5 years old. I don't remember William Shatner, but I do remember certain episodes: the one where a boy locked himself in the trunk of a car, and one where a child licked a tray of ice cubes and got his/her tongue stuck to it. The ice cube one has always stuck in my memory, and any time after I saw that episode and got my tongue stuck on a Popsicle, I knew how to get it unstuck without freaking out.
This show showed real stories and helped families learn what to do in certain situations. It was both entertaining and educational - a great combination.
