Banshee (2013–2016)

Monumental plot hole
3 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So, in the First Episode of First Season, Lucas Hood leaves the Prison peacefully, no problems.

Later in the same day after he visited his friend he had encounter with his enemies - soldiers of terrifying "Rabbit".

"Rabbit" is looking for Lucas, he want to know where Lucas is, to punish him for stealing his diamonds.

Now.... tell me, why Rabbit's soldiers did not wait for Lucas just outside of the Prison?

I simply can not watch a TV Series witch such a big plot hole hanging above my head whole time. No.

Besides that, it's probably solid TV Series - I stopped at Episode 4 S01.

If what I've describe is not a problem for you, go try it.

Ridiculously full of Cliches
12 October 2020
You got first cliche in the first 10 seconds of the movie, followed by another cliche and then another. Remember Prometheus, and unbelievably stupid behavior of the Explorers? Well that's nothing compared to Raised by Wolves. It's more comedy or parody than Sci-Fi.

Mr. Robot (2015–2019)

Journey of your mind
6 September 2020
What is reality? There are some movies and series out there trying to trick your mind, so you get off usual path of thinking, and you get that eerie feeling.

Like The Matrix, eXistenZ or Mr Robot. Except in Mr Robot it's layer after layer is exposed to you sometimes in delicate way, sometimes hits you hard, sometimes leaving much to interpretation.

It's rare poetry in modern mainstream cinema, and you don't need to be snobbish to experience that and get entertained, feel that loneliness in crowd of main character, his disorientation, determination or despair.

It's all like a symphony of World confusion about what to do next with our lives and civilisation. A must see for every sensitive soul out there.

Devs (2020)

It doesn't make much sense
18 August 2020
Devs is just one huge plot hole. It generally doesn't make any sense. If you are willing to ignore that, you may be attracted by other, better aspects of the movie. It's visually beautiful, and script is made profesionally to pin you in front of the screen if you catch the emotions of it, but totally lame if we're taking about common logic. Don't mistake it with real sci-fi, it's just an average thriller with pseudo-science in the background, and idea that seems great at first but then it's falling apart.... *meh*

Completely false image

This movie is not about Marie-Curie and her work, it's about romance and love.

You could replace Marie Skłodowska-Curie by French Maid or Nurse, and it wouldn't change much of the story in the movie.

If you desire to see romance movie - there are better than this one, if you want to know anything about Marie Skłodowska-Curie and her story, search the web.

Not recommended 3/10.
