Gokushufudo (2021)
Funny and fresh - love the ways of the Househusband
It's not your typical animation film, it's a fresh depiction with a hilarious narration and excellent characters. Must watch for anyone who is waiting to be humoured. Either you get it completely and love it or you don't, there no other way.
Gifted (2017)
It's a gift watching this one - 'He wanted me before I was Smart' sums up
After 'watch it', Tom Flynn's Gifted is for sure a gift. Acing As for the Cinematography, Acting and story.
Context setting of Millennium Prize Problems solving to allround development of childeren, this film presents a core problem of parenting to unleash talent vs to raise contained.I wish this film was better known so that I could've had this experience much before. McKenna slayed it, she's so full of life and such mature acting as a 8 year old! Kudos
Look forward to more cinema in this line from Avenger Evans. It's refreshing to watch after yesterday's endgame episode.
The Space Between Us (2017)
Love story of a Marsian who loves Earth
The first human born on the planet Mars, craves to belong to Earth. He is in love with the feeling of feeling earth. His travel aims to to meet his father and bond better with the only girl he knew in the virtual world. Turns out we want to blend and belong to the grass (In this case, planet) on the other side. Space between us, a ROM-com that finds a space for science intermingling with sentiment.
L'avenir (2016)
Things to come is a tale of changes that would alter the way we are, how we lead and what we become.
I am enamored by Huppert's performance. Hansen's tale on Nathalie brings a fresh take on how we can relate to change. In the process of syncing our thoughts and actions, are we changing our lifestyle?or we imagine an alternate reality/ cease to relate to reality and move on with hope and passion.
Happy (2015)
We all want to be happy, but don't know how!
Happy, starts as a instant connect between two individuals, Alessia- The American girl capturing the streets of Paris with her Nikon and Florent, the Parisian boy who gets her attention as the subject. The random encounter turns into a stay-in for the summer, followed by a road-trip, bonding with Florent's friend Marion and the bar waiter Thomas, an Australian. They connected quick and explored themselves through travel, communication and sexuality. With different perceptions on love, war and being happy they disperse to continue with their lives. Happiness is displayed as relative, 'in the moment' and eventually lost, only to recollect those moments that comforted at that point of time.
Do watch Before Sunrise (all the trio), if you haven't seen it yet.
