Rubicon (2010)
Wow this is bad
I'm not sure what this is supposed to be. If it's supposed to be a spy show, well, I've never seen so many stupid spies. I won't include spoilers but my god, the most basic plot lines were laughable. Spies who see someone who they're supposed to meet,'with information, gets murdered in a public place, and he never even checks to see what's in her hand.
It drags on and on and I'm still not even sure what the point was. Thirteen episodes and literally nothing happened until the last episode.
Honestly, we were giving them instructions as they went along. Might've helped if the writers had watched a few episodes of MI5. Don't waste your time.

Seriously, what is wrong with the audio?
Couldn't get more than 15 minutes in. Whoever did the sound mixing should've lost their job because they didn't seem to care about anyone hearing the spoken word. It's not a problem with accents. The sound is completely unbalanced. Everyone who speaks sounds like they're muffled or talking through a mask. Too bad. I have no idea whether this is a good watch or not. At first it seemed like it might just be the noisy bar and the background, but no.
I would've liked to see at least an episode of this but honestly, the muffled, garbled dialogue is impossible to get past. Sadly, this was a complete waste of time.
The Terminal List (2022)
Why must every scene be in the dark?!
I don't see (no pun intended) any reason to keep watching this after the first episode, seemingly filmed entirely in the dark. If this is supposed to be artistic, they missed the boat. It's just annoying. The creators should watch a few episodes of Better Call Saul ... masters at being able to film a night scene and still allowing the audience to actually SEE what's happening. Totally missed the opportunity to make a good series from an intriguing story. Amateurs.
Yellowstone (2018)
Oh. My. God. This is terrible.
I seriously don't understand how this garbage is highly rated. Three episodes in and Kayce has killed at least three people. I cannot find one even remotely likable character ... or even one with any redeeming characteristics. I don't understand the point of any episode. Is there a plot? Is there a story? I tried. But honestly, not worth the time. Writing, acting ... a big nothing.

Ads? Really?!
Enjoyed the first series so we were glad to see Series 2 would be premiering. Bit seriously, ads? Don't consumer already pay enough for internet, monthly subscriptions to TOO many different platforms, extra for UHD, and on and on. I'll be skipping series 2 until it's available without ads. Drop the greed.
The Man in the High Castle (2015)
Excellent writing, acting ... wonderful journey.
Man in the High Castle is one of those rare shows that got better with every season. They introduced us to the alt world in the first season and gradually helped us believe the unbelievable, with every succeeding episode. After the US loses World War II, the story begins in 1962. The United States is governed by the Japanese on the west coat, and the Reich in the East, with the lawless Neutral Zone between the two. The underground resistance is organizing around bootlegged films that show a different reality ... and their mission is to distribute the films, and their message. Difficult to write a review without spoilers, but be prepared for everything. Well worth your time.
A Touch of Cloth (2012)
This is a very poorly written, juvenile program
There are a wealth of fine British programs in action, crime, comedy genres. This isn't one of them. The puns and humor are sophomoric and pointless. If this is supposed to be following the pattern of films like Airplane, Naked Gun and the like, someone should tell them it's time has long since passed. This isn't funny. It's just ridiculous. Don't waste your time.
Stranger Things: Chapter Three: The Case of the Missing Lifeguard (2019)
What happened to the writing?
Three episodes in and I'm wondering what happened to Stranger Things. While it must've been a challenge to write for teenagers now, after a year and a half hiatus, I don't understand how the writers could go from two seasons, that were so well constructed and perfectly paced that you couldn't wait to watch the next episode (perfect for binging!) to .... whatever this is.
Season 3, three episodes in, has been largely "filler," with a teenage romance premise that does nothing to advance the story or plot. It's not interesting, or engaging, and has none of the "feels" of the first two seasons. I get the sense that this season could've been done in five episodes.
I'll likely go back and attempt to see this season through, but sadly, the human element and the tangible and poignant feelings that were so strong in the first two seasons, has been lost, at least through three episodes. Sad and disappointing.
The OA: Angel of Death (2019)
Can't they turn on a light or something?
Loved Part I ... don't get Part II at all. Only half way through Episode 1 but the story is incomprehensible and the video is unwatchable. Why is it even dark in the sunshine? Maybe they were going for some effect, but it's so annoying we may not be around for the rest of it. And where is OA? Homer? Hap? Why are we supposed to care about the missing gamer?
I dont care about this story.
Fortitude (2015)
Ridiculous laboring waste of time ... with very bad writing.
This is a sad excuse for .. for whatever it's supposed to be. Thriller? Psychological drama? Supernatural? SciFi? Who knows. It took the first 4 episodes of Season 1 just to figure out what the plot was supposed to be. And then they sunk into gore and violence because they apparently couldn't figure out what to write. Plot twists are one thing ... being deceptive and disingenuous by not showing key pieces until episodes later isn't good writing.
