Way too much waisted space
This use to be a show I watched everytime a new show came out. I loved it! But over the years they began repeating themselves over and over after every "commercial break". We don't need to hear a repeat of what you've already told us about. Even if someone watches the show where there are commercials, they don't need a repeat of everything they've already gone over every three minutes. I would venture to guess that most people watch this show on apps, like Hulu, where there are no commercials. I find myself constanting fastforwarding the regurgitated information. I wish the show would add more information in that repeated space or shorten the show so it doesn't need all the repeat of information. It feels like someone not wanting to put in the work in to do their jobs to add more information. Also, catch up to the times. We're all digital now. That alone requires changes to keep people intrigued about watching your show.
Not Just a Girl (2022)
Well Done!
I enjoy watching documentaries but lately they have been portly written, they skip around time frames and they are way to slow moving to keep my interest. It's like they are just trying to fill up air space from the start to the finish. BUT not this one! This one was well done from the start to the finish! I learned a lot of things about Shania that I didn't know. She seems very down to earth and like someone you want to get to know better. Shania could've taken this opportunity to publicly speak ill of her ex and her ex BFF, but in true Shania form, she handled it with class. She's a fighter and an inspiration.
See (2019)
Can't wait for season 2
I'm not into movies with a lot of violence but this one surprised me and kept me tuned in! Jason Momoa is always enjoyable to watch and I liked the interesting twist on the future that makes eyesight a gift or power. It was different than other shows. I love that Jason's character stands up to raise kids that aren't biologically his, but he never backs down from being Dad.
Truth Be Told (2019)
Good Watch!
Octavia rarely disappoints! This show has kept me coming back to watch. It isn't a slow moving show and keeps you guessing with surprises throughout.
The Queen's Corgi (2019)
Not made with kids in mind
This movie looks cute in the trailer but it has way too much adult content. Right off the bat it's about two dogs breading to make puppies, bullying, unkind talk, political in nature & I could go on. I'm very disappointed.
Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker (2020)
Disappointed that this was modernized for today's world
I am huge fan of Octavia Spencer and I had never heard the story of Madam CJ Walker so I was very much looking forward to watching this. As always Octavia was awesome but rather than it being a movie completely set back in 1912, they chose to modernize it with music from today and some of the story lines. The boxing scenes seemed to be there just to take up time in the movie much like commercials that we all skip through.
Runaways (2017)
3rd season 👎🏼
The 1st season was great! The 2nd season was still pretty good but by the end I was struggling to sit through it. I decided to try watching the 3rd season but by episode 3, I'm shutting it off for good. I'm not sure what changed but the story line is boring and drug out way to long!
