Station 19: I Know a Place (2023)
i rate these on how much they made me cry
10/10 i cried a lot
maya's introduction, seeing the familiar ways that mental health can manifest itself, her therapy session...
could really connect to the storylines in this one, not to mention the characters.
Lots of moments had me fully in tears, just silently crying (this is why i watch this show ALONE)
anyway, this is the most i have emotionally connected to an episode so far this season
also it made me cry so much that i literally had to write this review before watching the next episode
if you're like me, and routinely cry while watching this show or greys, this one is one of those that'll really get ya.
The Handmaid's Tale: Vows (2021)
such an INTENSE episode
I could write a whole ESSAY right now, but all i'll say is that this episode carried so much weight & emotion, and the direction, writing, acting were 10/10.
I'll be honest, i had a good cry throughout the story.. it makes you really feel and experience the characters' emotions
-Only negative is that i wish it it was a longer episode :(
i can't wait for next week.
Grey's Anatomy: It's All Too Much (2021)
My eyes are now puffy
Needless to say this episode had me crying silently throughout the whole thing.
I think they portrayed different forms of grief well, while also balancing it out with bits of progress in each storyline.
Kind of unrelated but the station 19 portion showing Carina's grief and emotion had me a bit choked up as well.
Glad she is getting more screen time, but didn't exactly want this to be the way that happened lol.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Chapter Thirty-Five: The Endless (2020)
An episode after my own heart :')
Such a pleasant surprise to see components of the original narrative woven into such a creative and fun new episode plot!
Loved the incorporation of Salem's character and so many of the other elements in this storyline, and I can honestly say that this episode was thoroughly enjoyable.
Some reviewers mentioned a creepy 'twilight zone' feeling to this episode, and I couldn't agree more. Love the horror tones mixed with all the nostalgia.
Great episode!
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Chapter Thirty-Three: Deus Ex Machina (2020)
WASN'T READY FOR THAT
Ok yes, I have my feelings about this series because I grew up on the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and although I still choose to watch this series, i was ABSOLUTELY NOT ready for the original Hilda and Zelda to pop in :').
very unexpected, but welcomed.
always impressed with the set design and cinematography even though the riverdale-esque performances make me uncomfortable at times.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Charlie Work (2015)
Hands down my favorite episode :)
This episode is one of the top episodes of the series in my opinion; it captures all the character's behaviors so perfectly but really gives Charlie a chance to shine.
The uncut/one-take scenes were executed beautifully and it really pulls you in and gets you invested in and even panicked about the situation.
This episode is always a good one to watch and rewatch and it is such a great piece of television :)
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018)
Visually stunning!
Despite some questionable decisions and the wild plot, after 3 seasons this show never fails to deliver in the visual department. The intricate costume and character design, especially in season 3, really adds to the immersion in the story. Above all, the set design is astonishing; all the attention to detail and unique structures really pays off!!! The efforts really shine through in the latest season in terms of the set of hell throughout the season and plant overgrowth later on.
Even if you aren't a fan of the storyline, you should still stay for the beautiful sets, costumes, and cinematography :)
