Better Call Saul: Rock and Hard Place (2022)
Incredible
Honestly even if you only watch the last 5 minutes, out of context, you know this was an incredible piece of television. If you're an invested fan, it's perfection. I don't think I've seen an episode that had me so pumped but also blown away since last season of BB. Nacho's speech was so satisfying!
Law & Order: Bodies (2003)
Honestly one of the best, but most infuriating episoxes
Forget Mark Bruner. That's not what this episode is about. This is about attorney client privilege. The problem is that the defense lawyer sacrifices his morals (if they existed) to stand by his court assigned client. In the world of the lawyer this may be looked on as righteous, but in the rest of the world this guy not telling where the multiple bodies are when it could give so many families peace, and they could finally know what happened to their relatives...he is just as bad as Bruner. He knows that the could bring clarity to all these victims' families but chooses not to. If you choose your career over basic human decency you're a joke. You take an oath, but when your oath precludes you from providing the whereabouts of multiple mother and father's children...you are a terrible person. I love this episode but hate Bruner's attorney. He should be imprisoned.
Homefront (2013)
James Franco?
I LOVE Jason Statham, and I think he is an amazing action actor and so great in all his roles. But give me a break with the casting. Jason is supposed to be afraid of James Franco? There is no scenario I can fathom where Franco would be intimidating to Jason Statham. One terrible casting choice kinda messed up everything but it's still Statham laying beatings and showing protection for a young child and that's his wheelhouse. Still gets a 7, especially because it's the weird hillbillies who think they run things getting beat up.
The Myth of the American Sleepover (2010)
Wow
This is honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The acting is atrocious, it's like watching a cast comprised of entirely Kristen Stewart's not being able to display any semblance of emotion whatsoever. So incredibly boring with completely unbelievable dialogue (the little dialogue there was), even the ones who are supposed to be best friends speak to each other in a way that isn't even remotely grounded in reality. Mostly it's watching these kids barely talk to each other throughout the film. There is zero character introduction or background, none of them have any personality. It genuinely made me angry to watch this.I have never cared less about the characters in a movie in my life, I was rooting for everyone to lose.
