AMC are absolute fools for cancelling Pantheon. Pantheon is quite possibly the best show on AMC since The Walking Dead, a show which has nearly fallen off entirely. Cancel Walking Dead, not Pantheon. Luckily, someone smarter than the knobs over at AMC picked it up and season is nothing short of excellent. I watched it all in a day. So should you. Season one of Pantheon is without question the most exceptional show from AMC's catalogue in 2022. I won't give anything away from season one or two but to say you won't find much better on network or streaming these days. So do yourself a favor; settle in and make a day of watching Pantheon seasons one and two. Today.

For having so much potential the writing or story telling is simply abysmal. The dialogue is some of the worst I've heard, well... period. The voice acting is solid and the animation isn't bad. Like I said, lot's of potential. So much excellent source material to work with. I have no idea how anyone can write dialogue this terrible.

Alright, less review and more opinion. I adore this film. I loved the first one too but this remake for me surpasses the original. No, it's not a contest; I know this. Nonetheless, something about this version resonates with me. It's apparent to me that those responsible for this gem really cared about it. Truly, I hope they make a sequel. Michael Greyeyes and Ryan Kiera Armstrong killed it... no pun intended.
