And Just Like That... (2021)
Each Episode Worse than the Last
Who is writing these scripts? Who is their target audience? I'm about the same age as these women and this is embarrassing. For supposed New Yorkers they are super out of touch. They are living in some privileged world and their actions are those of someone in their 70's. I continue to watch just to see how bad it is.
The Morning Show (2019)
Season 2
Thank god Reese doesn't have to wear those horrible wigs this season.
This Is a Robbery: The World's Biggest Art Heist (2021)
Mystery & Art Lovers will enjoy this
Having lived in Boston, I loved this series and all the references to different the neighborhoods and people. I feel that it's a well laid out comprehensive Mystery. Also, pulls at the heart strings of Fine Art fans.
Wild Mountain Thyme (2020)
Dang!
I'm so sad! I love these actors. I so wanted this movie to be good! The script and the direction is all over the place. Tons of clichés. Christopher Walken's dialect goes between non-existent and horrible. The "touching" father/son scene between Walken and Dornan was awful! What a waste of time, money and talent.
Firefly Lane (2021)
Enjoyed it
I really enjoyed this series. Honestly, I fast forwarded through most of Episodes 7-10 as they were pretty predictable. The age progressions were pretty good except for poor Beau Garrett (Cloud). The bad wig and high school age make up were embarrassingly awful.
Locked Down (2021)
Loved this movie
Perfect movie to relieve the COVID Boredom. Fun premise, well written, superbly acted and creatively shot. Totally recommending it to friends family.
Fargo: Happy (2020)
Full Package
This season is the best so far. It gets better with every episode. The script, the actors, the direction, the production elements = outstanding.
The Vow (2020)
Edit, Edit, Edit
Interesting situation, but why 9 episodes? Lots of regurgitation. Could have been done in 3-4 episodes. Pretty much fast forwarded through Episodes 6-10
Wild Prairie Rose (2016)
Beautiful Film!!
Wow! I'm totally surprised. Phenomenal actors, excellent script/story and gorgeous cinematography. A sweet, beautiful gem. I grew up in Nebraska and I could feel the magic of the Prairie. Well done! 👏👏👏👏👏
Mozart in the Jungle (2014)
Still grieving
I'm now rewatching all 4 seasons. I can't believe this masterpiece of a show was cancelled. Nothing will ever take its place 💔
Grosse Pointe Blank (1997)
Loved this movie forever
Probably seen it like 10 times in the last 20 years and just caught it again today. Still holds up, still a favorite, still have a crush on John Cusack.
Everything's Gonna Be Okay (2020)
Finding its Footing
I've missed Josh Thomas and really have missed "Please, Like Me". This show is totally different, but it's really growing on me. It took about 3 episodes to hit its stride. I hope it keeps going!!
Avenue 5 (2020)
Great Actors/Bad Script
I love all these actors and really wanted it to succeed but the script is awful. The characters are one dimensional and the pacing awful. So sad
Shrill (2019)
Gets better and better!
This show constantly surprises me. I love how each character unfolds. The stories are so well rounded.
Cats (2019)
Awful script & direction
Just awful and the blame falls squarely on the Script and Director. Except for Ian McKellen there was absolutely no interest or connection between audience and characters. The movie had no heart and there was no reason for us to like the characters. The poor actors had to work with bad choice after bad choice. The studio shouldn't throw any more money at this flop to fix the GCI. That's not the problem.
The Irishman (2019)
Awful
The CGI was so distracting and the pace too slow. Couldn't finish it. I love Scorsese and these actors, so I'm sad that it was such a miss.
Holiday Rush (2019)
Super sweet!
As far as these kind of Christmas movies go the script was okay. Fortunately, they had these quality actors to pull it off. Might become a regular holiday watch for me.
Modern Love (2019)
Beautiful
Wow! So well done. Wonderful writing, spectacular direction, beautiful actors. Each one it's own story full of heart. Made me feel better about life.
The Vet Life (2016)
Best Vet show ever!
Like the pace of the show and the balance of showing work and personal relationships. Most of a all love that they show mainly dogs! But, there is a good mix of barnyard and exotic animals. The Vet Techs and supporting staff are wonderful. Plus, the Docs are super funny!!!!
Four Weddings and a Funeral (2019)
Love this Show!!
Well written with lovely, funny actors. Fresh and modern. Love the American-British interactions and that we get to see London. Fingers crossed that Ed Weeks will make an appearance!!
SMILF: Single Mom in Love Forever (2019)
The reality of the birth...
... was fantastic. The truths couldn't be hidden anymore- she needed her Mom and the moment she told Rafi she couldn't marry him - so poignant and raw. My favorite episode
Escape at Dannemora (2018)
Wow!!! Episode 5!
The single shot camera work at the beginning of the episode- Epic! Patricia Arquette is impeccable. Episode 4 dragged a little but overall this top of the line show.
Kidding (2018)
Compelling and Original
This show slowly pulled me in. Jim Carrey's performance is fantastic all around. He is surrounded by an amazing ensemble- even the young actors are terrific. The writing is impeccable. It's hard wait between episodes!
The First (2018)
Excellent drama
Set against the backdrop of a successful astronaut struggling with family issues this show is well written and acted, beautifully shot and edited. Diverse and excellent casting it's full of flawed characters trying to be the best humans they can be. The direction is outstanding. I think the show is riveting and terrific.
