OK so it wasn't the best film I have ever seen, and do agree with a few of the negative remarks. But it was what it was, and old school TV movie....

The plot though not very well written had potential and while it didn't always deliver the storyline wasn't so bad.

I brought this film ex-rental on VHS because Im a Delany fan and wasn't as disappointed as I thought I would be after reading the reviews. I liked her character and found it very easy to sympathise... was it ridiculous at times, Yes! Was it clichéd at times, yes! But over all it held my attention and the conclusion was pretty satisfying.

Carradine played his part well, both of the cops gave me the creeps in fact! And granted the love scene was ludicrous in the sense that I didn't buy their connection at all... but overall I think the actors did well considering the material.

Over all id give this 'TV movie' a 6 out of 10, if only for the actors that made it enjoyable beyond the many holes in the script.

If you're a Delany or Carradine fan, id say give it a go :)

I love Dana Delany and I love crime shows....this show delivers in a similar way Desperate Housewives and the such do, unbelievable in certain aspects but thoroughly enjoyable at the same time.

I take some issue with the stiletto heels and the autopsies performed with the male cast members in a hair net and Miss Delany performing the main tasks with hers long and flowing.... but of course she looks great doing it ;)

The characters are fun and likable and the show has potential, I will continue to watch for the entertainment value, but don't expect too much complexity or originality.

Brilliant short lives series!

I loved everything about this series... the acting and characters were spot on, the story development made me want to watch each episode in concession (the joys of having it on DVD) I could only imagine having to watch this week to week...I would have been counting down to the next one!

No clue why this series was ended, it was a brilliantly done TV show that should have continued! The characters were very well developed throughout and I found myself immersed in both the story and the individual characters.

Have passed this box set to friends and family with a similar response! What is wrong with networks these days? The amount of crap produced and this slips through the cracks.....would have loved to see more!!

Confused....

Confused.....purchased this film as a Dana Delany fan and by the end I had no idea why or what was motivating this film?! I was enjoying the story and characters until I realized there was no explanation for this woman's actions or development to the back story of any of the characters!

Frustrating to the point of purchasing the book, to try and gain some clarity of the characters motivations.

Delany was enjoyable however her character was unlikeable and the film left me needing a part 2...no real conclusion or explanation :/

I recommend maybe reading the novel first....I think coming into it some knowledge of a back story and character development will make it a bit more enjoyable!
