Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend (2022)
Incomplete
I loved all the feel of the of the 40s/60s, the actors were OK, just used a few "profanity words", beautiful vintage cars and Italian scenery but the story... It tells you in detail a part of the main character life, then you jump to another point and gets you lost on many things.
I feel I just watched a movie of which the budget ran out on the middle of the production.
I ended up with so many questions that is frustrating: what happened to the tractors business (the movie didn't show more than the first they built)? How was the success of the first car, did it sell well compared to Ferrari? How many did it make in total? How did the company continue after is death? At least a couple of words in text on the screen could have given more insight.
The most awful thing: it shows him driving on the opposite lane of the road and ends the movie, giving the idea that he killed himself, when sources say he "died of natural causes"
Interstellar (2014)
I fell asleep...
This is the first time that I went to the cinema and fell asleep. Firtly the trailers presented on TV and internet were very short and almost no images of the real movie. I noticed that it was an uncommon movie with more than 2 hours, but still I could left whenever I want. The first hour of the movie until the cinema break: I see a house, open field, and hear about ghosts. Suddenly after the break, they are on the space. Traveling and traveling, going through things that we can only expeculate about, travel to the 5th dimension and visit some worlds where the time passes differently. They are trying to find a planet to replace earth, but they aren't being so successful and are having trouble getting out.
They say they are being called by someone on space (ET?) but at the end we find out its just humans that went to another dimmension and were able to change time to send messages through gravity.
When I go to a movie I usually don't care about science, because it is all bogous, but THIS movie tries to use all possible theories to make their history possible. But they failed. Only lovers of Discovery Channel will like this movie because of "theories".
Technicall opinnion: -Music: 2/10. Hans Zimmer did this? I can't believe. I just remember a piano playing fast. I would love to be paid to make ambient music like that. Anyone can. -SFX: 3/10. Unbelievable (yes, really Unbelievable), Circles with textures and dots at the background? I worked on 3D animations and I would never do something that bad. -Sound: 9/10. Yes the sound design was good. Very original cuts of sound in space. -Acting: 5/10. Too much emotions for a movie so poor.
The result: Don't remember quite, I was sleeping. I just heard the sounds of them trying to get back home. I wook up when the father watches her daughter (+50 years older than him) dying.
What I got from the movie: an headache and remeembered how important life is and how good the human race is (really?).
This is the second movie from Legendary Pictures I saw and say to myself: I just spend 8$ on this? Yes, I will never see one movie from this director again.
