I imagine the upside of voicing an animated character is that you are likely, easily forgotten. For talent like Jane Fonda & Toni Collette, this was an easy payday, with minimal to no damage to their acting careers. It literally took me for days to get through this total ocean of diarrhea. I really wanted to like this. I am a huge fan of animated movies. This story was dull and failed to grip me. Honestly, I am over these forced message/agenda pushing movies. Given that it is animated, it is clearly targeting a very specific demographic. All of these studios have gone off the rails. Bring back actual entertainment!!!

My Big Fat Fabulous Life
(2015– )
Just how fabulous...?
4 October 2023
...would your life be without cameras documenting every detail of a scripted, and, 100% fantastical lifestyle. This woman lives a lie. She knows it. I tried watching an episode, but quickly found myself very angry. As a plus sized person, I was disgusted by the thought that a "reality" show would actually promote(and actively sustain) this, wholly, unhealthy & unsustainable lifestyle. While they have the smattering of weight loss attempts, the truth is, they make more money keeping this chick FAT!!! In fact, TLC's programming is targeting enablers and co-dependents. Essentially, anyone who thinks that diet, exercise, common sense and decency need NOT tune in. Do not be fooled by the misleading acronym T(he) L(earning) C(hannel). There are NO lessons here.

Ugh! Shame on You!

Feels like the whole point of this show is to drag the reputations of these people through the mud. Armchair sleuths rattling off opinions, pseudo-facts, gossip and ridiculous conspiracy theories. Their evidence? Sub-reddit pages! Everyone of these vile, disgusting characters should be brought to task. These are dumb, ignorant, uninformed, gossip mongers, and, Vice is more than happy to add them to their already despicable repertoire of crappy"entertainment". This is nothing more than one of those shows that goes nowhere, but, takes an hour...with commercials). Seems fitting Vice belongs to the Discovery Channel Family. Garbage content cleverly disguised & packaged to appear as educational/informative programming...READ A BOOK!

A Poingent Letter From Son to Father
3 December 2022
I came across this by accident, and am SO glad I did. An absolutely honest, touching and truly raw look at an unconventional father/son dynamic. A father and son, who, despite their seemingly dysfunctional and unhealthy relationship, possess a wholly unconditional love, affection and mutual respect for each other. A truly beautiful and touching love letter from a son to his father, "hero". Thank you so much for reminding us that our connections are what are truly important at the end of the day. I love how much Jr loves Sr. I have ALWAYS been a Jr fan, and this film has welcomed me into an honest relationship, with all of its ugliness.

A Solid 10! An 11 for Martha Plimpton!

Greg Garcia delivers just in time! I had given up on serial comedies. This is hilarious! A brilliant ensemble. You will laugh your ass off. This delivers on many levels. Whether you are left, right or middle. . Something for everyone.
Honestly. Seth MacFarlane is a modern day comedic gift.

With so much garbage out there, it's nice to know that I can fall back on anything from him and I will laugh my tits off! This is one of my favorite episodes. I can't even tell you how many times my husband and I replay scenes.

SIMPLY CAPTIVATING

I love that Ritchie and Statham have come full circle. Jason is truly a powerhouse in this film and effortlessly gets you on his side very early on. As the viewer, you will find yourself completely enmeshed with Statham's character. Around half way through you will be completely married to his character. From that point on, you start to feel a visceral sensation. From here, you are just along for the ride. For sure Statham's best film.

100% Entertainment!!! Laughed Every Second!!

Judd Apatow manages to nail it! I laughed throughout this entire movie. I am puzzled by the bad reviews. I can appreciate that Apatow sees Hollywood for what it really is, and manages to assemble a cast that can laugh at themselves, and what they do for a living. This is a lighthearted jab at movie making and the cult of celebrity.

Warning: Spoilers
Movie studios are increasingly trying to push social messages. This is no exception. If you have kids under 12 do not let them watch this. It's about a girl getting her period for the first time. Way to go Disney/Pixar. I'm starting to lose hope.

Cover Blown?
16 November 2021
Why would an "undercover" agent go on national television? If this was such a successful operation, why in the hell would you expose it? Just stupid! Just more trashy "reality" television exploiting a very real & dangerous issue. People claiming to be virtuous, only wanting to be famous.

Ugh! The ending.
28 September 2021
I really feel like people reviewed this before they actually finished all 7 episodes. It starts out really strong, but, by episode 3 you really see what Flanagan is trying to do. After you sit through, I don't know how many mind numbing monologues(at least one per episode), you are rewarded with a completely ridiculous, and lazy ending.

Why Women Should Never Be President!
27 September 2021
The four women presented literally represent what goes on in one woman's mind. As a woman, I never understood what Barbara Walter's was going for. I assumed she wanted to present educated, articulate and rational women...instead she got Whoopi and Joy Behar!

Superb!

I've actually had Netflix for years, and yet somehow, this gem NEVER came up in my suggestions. My sister mentioned it in conversation. Anywho...just a spectacular show. Gillian Anderson is a comedic revelation. Every thing about this show comes together perfectly.

I Will NEVER Understand Why This Was Cancelled
24 August 2021
I recently had the privilege of binge watching this, after many years. I forgot just how funny and honest it was. I was an instant fan when this show premiered, and pissed when it was canceled. I am so happy that Judd Apatow had his revenge.
What the heck is this documentary about?
18 August 2021
The title is completely misleading. I literally had to fast forward through the first 2/3 of the movie before a single Nazi is mentioned. A very serious subject is lost in Harold Evans lengthy diatribes and just plain boring on screen talking heads.

Why make this film?
15 August 2021
Greed. Plain and simple. I made it 16:34 painful minutes before finally turning it off. Fortunately, I was not one of the many people who dropped $30 on Disney+ Premier Access. The original, animated film is still one of my top 5 Disney Princess films. THIS IS GARBAGE.

Finally! A decent offering from Netflix.
27 July 2021
It would appear that Netflix is taking a page from the SYFY Network's play book: Low budget/B movies with decent plots/storylines and a cast that can act, Throw in one recognizable name(Dominic Purcell) to draw an additional audience that might not otherwise give this a second glance.

Joan Wick?
15 July 2021
I gave this five stars because, at the end of the day, it's an entertaining piece. The problem is, it's a feminist rip off of John Wick. Second, as a woman, I am really sick of overly done "chicks rule" movies. They start to feel patronizing. I felt the same with "Promising Young Woman". Again, it's a good watch. You won't be bored.
