Really, really bad commercial.
25 July 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Smosh: The Movie is not the movie, it's more like a one and a half hour long YouTube video with more youtubers. That's all.

An embarrassing video of Anthony surfaces online right before his fifth high school reunion. The Smosh dudes then race to pull down the clip before it blows Anthony's chances of reconnecting with his teen crush Anna.

I really like Smosh like YouTube channel, but not like a movie. Before I watched this movie, I read some reviews. Reviews were saying that the movie is not like they were expecting (in a positive way). I was like:"Well, let's watch it then." But reviews were wrong. The movie is really bad. The movie felt so cheap, like I could make one like this (no, seriously, I can).

The acting is bad. Their acting is something like we can see on their YouTube channel. It's a bit better, but still cheap. Dialogues are mostly really clichés. Actually, there is one actor that did pretty good. Peter Breitmayer (Mr. Ellis). He is so cool.

There are some moments in this movie where you're like:"That's dumb, nobody will do that." For example, when the mailman came with a mail and Ian threw water balloons at him, or when a little kid started shitting on Anthony's car. Nope. Also, the movie is really predictable. The movie is not funny as well. It's supposed to be funny, but it's not. I don't know about others, but this movie was not funny. I don't like that thing that Ian and Anthony's YouTube video (newer), in which they were all fighting, gave them wealth.

The special effects were bad, especially the scene when Ian and Anthony were jumping through the portal to YouTube. Also, I remember that there was one awful explosion.

In the end, this movie is only for their true fans. I don't think that this movie doesn't deserve a big rating.

Minions (2015)
7/10
Funny, but that's not it!
29 June 2015
So, this movie disappointed me a bit, but not that much.

Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob went on a journey to find a super-villain, which will they serve. On their journey, they went to VillainCon (I think it was called like that) and they started to serve one of the best villains in the world (America), Scarlet Overkill. They helped her to steal a crown.

This movie is not that good as Despicable Me, but it's better than Despicable Me 2. In the first one, minions are funnier than in this one called Minions, which is a shame. Of course, this movie is funny, but there are some jokes that are here for the kids. The movie's ending is great. After I saw young Gru and when his theme song started playing, I was being like:"OK, I think this is one of the most awesome movie (animated) I ever saw." The funniest joke in this movie is when minions came to the VillainCon (again, don't know if it's called like that), and Scarlet came at a stage with her awesome dress, dude dressed like her screamed:"I love you, Scarlet!" I mean, that was hilarious. Also, I really liked that moment when Scarlet told minions a "bed-time story" (which was cruel), Bob fell asleep. Characters (Bob, Stuart and Kevin) are done well in this movie. They have a lot of chemistry together. They are always all together and they are different. Kevin is brave and he is a chief. Bob is like a child. He is playful and scared. And Stuart, nahh... He is just hungry.

At the end, this was a really short review, but I have nothing else to say. I mean, jokes were mostly funny, characters have a good chemistry, ending is badass and... That's it. This movie is not that good as I was thinking it'll be, but it was good.

We already have Oscar Winner for Best Animated Feature Of The Year!
22 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Pixar is back! And good as always. I'll just say, if you didn't already, go watch this movie!

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

After a lot of time (for me, since Toy Story 3) we got another awesome Pixar movie. The story is really, really good. I can easily say that this movie is for both, parents and children. For parents because it has something that kids won't understand, like growing up and stuff, but kinds will like jokes and funny moments. I was impressed because there are NO FART JOKES! Like in other new animated films, there is some humor that some kids won't understand.

The voice actors did great. Amy Poehler (Joy), Phyllis Smith (Sadness), Bill Hader (Fear) and Lewis Black (Anger). They were just awesome. There are not many clichés. Sound effects are good as well. Animations are just great. There is one scene when shelves with memories are falling, and after that I was being like:" In your face, San Andreas!" Trust me, that scene is brutal.

Pete Docter did a great job as well (writer and director). He is one of the best director and writer for animated movies. He is like... Awesome. He made Up, Monsters Inc., Toy Story and Wall-e. He is unstoppable!

Well, this movie is great, but it has only one sin and, of course, that are clichés. No movie is without them. I can easily say that we already have Oscar winner for Best Animated Feature Film Of The Year.

Really good mind-blowing movie!
24 May 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of those movies: the more you watch, more it gets f**ked up.

Caleb, a 26 year old coder at the world's largest internet company, wins a competition to spend a week at a private mountain retreat belonging to Nathan, the reclusive CEO of the company. But when Caleb arrives at the remote location he finds that he will have to participate in a strange and fascinating experiment in which he must interact with the world's first true artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a beautiful robot girl.

So, the story is really, really interesting. It will hold you till the last minute and after the movie, you'll be like:" OK, what the hell just happened?" . When I first saw the trailer for this movie, I was searching for the tickets for cinema, but I didn't find it. I don't know, but our cinemas in Croatia didn't show the movie.

The acting is great. Domhnall Gleeson (Caleb) and Oscar Isaac (Nathan) did great. Their connection at first was great, but after a while, Ava told Caleb that everything is a lie and after that, their connection and friendship changed. Alicia Vikander as Ava did great as well. She acted just like a robot.

When the movie ends, I was being like:"And that's where the Terminator begins." No, seriously, if you already watched it, you'll know why. At the beginning of the movie, I was thinking that this is going to be something messed up. And it really was. At the end, Nathan turned out to be a good, but Caleb's plan screws him up. When I first saw Nathan's wardrobe, where manikins are, I was like:"Whaaa...?"

Visuals and Sound effects are awesome. Sounds that Ava makes every time she moves is awesome. Soundtracks were good as well. Everything went so smooth through the movie.

At the end, I'll say, definitely go watch this movie!

What a lovely day! And movie!
20 May 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know why people are complaining about this movie. All of them are saying that this movie is disappointing, but I was actually impressed! Seriously, who wrote this movie.

An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

What I like about this movie is an originality. Once again, some crazy people wrote this movie. Just look at some scenes, some characters. Seriously, where the hell did they found that dude that looks like a baby and is fed with baby milk.

Also, some people are complaining about Tom Hardy starring Max. I was really happy with it. No, I'm impressed again. I really like his hallucinations of his past. Charlize Theron starring Furiosa did crazy as well. Her hope for better tomorrow was done well. These mothers are done good as well.

I also really like visual effects. That effect of sandstorm is amazing. Seriously, my jaw drops after sometime. Sound effects and soundtracks are done good as well. I really like that dude that is playing some crazy looking guitar at the front of the car.

There is not much dialog, which I really like. This movie is concentrates on action, not on the story telling (also well made). When I first saw the trailer, I was like:"Another Mad Max movie? But I didn't watched the first trilogy." But what I really like is that this movie is not connected with other Mad Max movies (you don't have to watch other movies). I think I watched the third Mad Max movie, but I didn't like it much. You know, cars and stuff (not a fan of race movies or games).

The action scenes are awesome. I was creeping out while watching those scenes (I don't know why, but I was). I really like their spear with a bomb on the top. Don't know where that came from.

At the end, I think this movie is the best movie released this year (sharing first place with Kingsman: The Secret Service). I have to say, if you already didn't, go watch this movie!

Wayward Pines (2015–2016)
9/10
Really good start for an interesting series!
15 May 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Finally! After a long time, we got trailer for this series, but now it finally started.

Secret Service agent Ethan Burke arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, ID, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. But instead of answers, Ethan's investigation only turns up more questions. What's wrong with Wayward Pines? Each step closer to the truth takes Ethan further from the life he knew, from the husband and father he was, until he must face the terrifying reality that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.

The story is really, really good. I mean, I was just waiting for something like this to happen. There is only one episode released and it's awesome! You have to start watching it! Last time I saw the trailer for this series about a week ago and I was like:"This looks familiar. Oh yeah! I am waiting for this!" In the same time, I'm watching Gotham (season ended), The Flash, The Big Bang Theory (season ended), The Last Man on Earth (season ended).

The actors are really good. Actually, I never heard of them. Matt Dillon, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, Shannyn Sossamon... Know someone? But Matt Dillon is really good here, I have to say.

For what I have seen in first episode, this is going to be a really, really good series and I can't wait for more!

Awesome!
26 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
How I define Avengers: Expendables with Marvel superheros, but much more badass.

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for a global adventure.

The story is, for me better than first one. I don't know, but the first one was a little bit boring, but this one is much more interesting.

The actors are great (as always). Old crew is here again: Robert Downey Jr (Iron man)., Chris Hemsworth (Thor) , Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) , Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye). So, Robert Downey Jr. was my favorite, as always. He is sarcastic and witty as always. All other avengers did great as well. Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) in the middle of the movie, just when you start thinking:"Where the hell is he?". Then, surprise surprise, her he is.

The special (Visual) effects are great. I was feeling like I'm watching hero movie (what I was watching), some crazy apocalypse movie and comedy (because of Downey Jr. and others but mostly because of him). Every single effect was shocking. I was looking into the movie like I saw a ghost (not scared, more like surprised).

The avengers are badass more than in the first movie. The action scenes are great and also, entertaining as hell. Soundtracks in this movie are well made.

So, after all, this movie is really good. I was fully entertained, but I won't recommend this movie to people that don't like hero movie.

Pretty funny movie, but really bad made.
23 April 2015
This movie is bad, but I have to admit, it's really funny.

Undercover cop Lucas White joins Vin Serento's LA gang of illegal street racers. They are fast and they are furious and they plan to double cross LA crime kingpin Juan Carlos de la Sol who hides his cash in a downtown Taco Bell. The gangs outrageous plan is as daring as it is ridiculous and will see them towing the whole damn restaurant, at crazy speeds.

So, the story in this movie is simple. Of course, this is Fast and Furious parody. This movie doesn't need to be good quality to be funny. I mean, I was laughing at The Starving Games, but I really like hunger games or Vampire Suck... Yeah, I don't like Twilight. This movie gives us all those stereotypes that Furious franchise has like: over oiled Dwayne Johnson or Vin Diesel with tight shirts.

The actors are really looking like actors from Furious franchise, but these are not that good in acting. Actually, this is too much for spoof movie. Of course, there are clichés like in real Furious movies.

Effects of driving are not that good. Outside of a car, there are some disco flashes that are going somewhere (don't know where). Some nerds are going to say: "OMG! Bikes are not exploding after they hit a tree!". But still, that was funny. Also, some dead objects like dead bird is not really convincing. But still, it was fun as well.

Sounds are not harmonized. Some of the punches are not harmonized as well. Everything is not harmonized. Sounds are not convincing too.

So, this movie is really bad, but still, if you want to laugh, this is all you ever wanted.

Liam Neeson not starring God?
16 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Yey! We have another movie starring Liam Neeson as a God!

Mobster and hit man Jimmy Conlon has one night to figure out where his loyalties lie: with his estranged son, Mike, whose life is in danger, or his longtime best friend, mob boss Shawn Maguire, who wants Mike to pay for the death of his own son.

So, the story is simple. Liam is saving his family (son) again. But actually, we have one really entertaining movie. When I saw the trailer I was being like: " Oh, it's Liam's God mod again." But, in this movie we found out that he is not a God like we thought.

Acting in this movie is decent. Liam Neeson did pretty good this time, after his bad role in Taken 3. This one was much better. Joel Kinnaman (starring his son) did pretty good too. The other actors did good as well, but those two had really hard time jumping over the fence and running around. Now we know why is the title "Run all night".

The action scenes are really good . They are really entertaining and thrilling as well. Some moments are a bit predictable and impossible, but we still have those entertaining parts.

There is not much soundtracks that will keep you watching in this movie like John Wick did, but it's also not bad. The scenes are well cut, there is not much shaky cam. Also, I can that directing is done well too.

Well, this movie comes at a great time. This movie fixed most of Taken 3 issues as well. If you need something not challenging for your brain, this is something for you.

Everything is Awesome!
13 April 2015
And I finally watched it! The Lego Movie!

The LEGO Movie is a 3D animated film which follows lead character, Emmet a completely ordinary LEGO mini-figure who is identified as the most "extraordinary person" and the key to saving the Lego universe. Emmet and his friends go on an epic journey to stop the evil tyrant, Lord Business

So, when I was a kid, I was a big fan of legos. I was playing with them all the time. But now, when I saw this movie, I am thinking:" Well, I still have my legos under the bed."

There is a fantastic crew of actors here. We have Will Arnett (Batman voice), Elizabeth Banks (Wyldstyle), Will Forte (Abraham Lincoln), Jonah Hill (Green Lantern), Morgan Freeman (Vitruvius), Dave Franco (Wally) and, of course, Liam Neeson (Bad Cop/Good Cop). And all of them done well. I wasn't expecting this much.

Humour in this movie is for everyone. There are jokes that kids can understand, but parents and older crew will laugh as well. There was one joke that really reminds me of "Two and a half man", and it was, of course, "Honey, where are my pants?"

Also, song "Everything is awesome" is as well, awesome. It's so catchy that I must share it on facebook. The song is not complicated and it's good rhythm.

There is a lot of clichés, but with everything mentioned up here, that's nothing. Some of clichés really reminds me of "Ice Age" series which were having a lot of clichés as well.

So, this movie is really entertaining commercial for legos, but commercial with humor and good acting crew. Definitely recommending it to everyone!

Pretty good Plane thriller!
9 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Liam Neeson starring himself (as always)! Yey!

Bill Marks, a former cop dealing with his daughter's death by drinking, is now a federal air marshal. While on a flight from New York to London, Marks gets a text telling him that unless 150 million dollars is transferred to an offshore account, someone will die every 20 minutes. Can he find the terrorist in time and save everyone?

So, whole story is pretty decent. At first, I wasn't looking forward for this movie, but not when I saw it, I can tell that it's pretty good action/thriller movie.

Liam Neeson acts same in every movie. Here he acted same, as well. I don't know, but in every single movie he was acting on, his family is always dying or is already dead (or he is saving someone who have something in common with his family). Also, he never dies. He is playing God in every movie. ALSO, he is always a cop (or ex-cop), but he always saves everyone or get justice for his family. Julianne Moore really surprised me. She is really good actor and in this movie she acted good as well. I wasn't expecting this much acting in this movie, but we get their best.

Special effects are well made. Plane crushing on runway is pretty cool. Also, I was enjoying those moments when they hit a ceiling of plane (because gravity or that kind of stuff).

Movie is thrilling and interesting, but there are a lot of clichés. I couldn't help myself not to notice them. Also, this movie is pretty predictable, but who is terrorist... no!

So, this movie is well made, it's really entertaining and I'm recommending it to everyone!

really bad horror movie!
5 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Truly, I was expecting so much more from this movie when I first saw the trailer.

So, a group of medical students discovers a way to bring dead patients back to life. But of course, there are some side effects. Bad, bad side effects that make people (and a poor dog) dangerous and aggressive.

So, the story is not that bad for a horror movie, but I think it could be more interesting in the Sci-fi genre. There are some elements from the movie called "Lucy" for example: Using more than 10% brain capacity, but "Lucy" did it much better! From the trailer I was expecting something cool and unseen, but again, we get some bullshit horror again!

Acting in this movie is not that bad, but it is bad. All of the actors did bad. Olivia Wilde, Sarah Bolger and Mark Duplass did bad. There were some moments where you'll be like: "Oh God, everybody can act better than this! Why the hell did they hired them?" Acting is full of clichés and I don't like it at all.

For entertaining in this movie you have to have a good sense of humor. For example (also SPOILER, but if you believe me, you are not going to watch this movie): when Zoe is crushing Niko in the closet, I was being like: "Use that force, Darth Vader taught you well." Also, if you don't have a sense of humor, this review is more entertaining then The Lazarus Effect, because here you can waste your 1-2 minutes (it depends on how fast are you reading) for reading, while watching a movie you'll waste freaking 83 minutes!

Special effects are not bad, but with everything I mentioned before this is done bad too. I mean, the whole idea with a hallway in fire is bad. There are some horror clichés like dolls and little creepy kids.

With everything mentioned up here, I don't know. I'm not going to give this movie 1, because Fifty Shades of Gray was worse than this. A LOT!

Furious 7 (2015)
9/10
Better than other Furious movies!
5 April 2015
So, this is the third fast and furious movie I every watched, so I don't know much about F&F series.

Dominic Torretto and his crew thought they left the criminal mercenary life behind. They defeated an international terrorist named Owen Shaw and went their separate ways. But now, Shaw's brother, Deckard Shaw is out killing the crew one by one for revenge. Worse, a Somalian terrorist called Jakarde, and a shady government official called "Mr. Nobody" are both competing to steal a computer terrorism program called God's Eye, that can turn any technological device into a weapon. Torretto must reconvene with his team to stop Shaw and retrieve the God's Eye program while caught in a power struggle between terrorist and the United States government.

So, if you didn't watch previous Furious movies, you can still watch Furious 7 because the story is not that connected. I watched the first Furious movie and Tokyo Drift and now this. The characters are still the same: Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) etc. All of them did good. I'm not going to say great because the movie is filled with clichés and stuff. Like JeremyJahns sad, you can play a drinking game where every time Diesel says word „familly" you take a shot. Trust me, don't do it, you'll die.

The action scenes are great because this movie is all about action and race. They are exciting, fast and furious (of course). Car races are done good as well.

Soundtracks are done well. Everything fit.

So, Furious 7 is really good movie, not better than Kingsman, but better than Taken. I was fully entertained and I think this movie deserves a good rating.

So good!
2 April 2015
When I first watched a trailer for this movie, I wasn't expecting this much from it. I was thinking that it's going to be something like James Bond or like that, but we get a lot more then that.

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn, Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.

So, the story is, by it self, a lot more then usual spy and agent movies. I really like this idea about those sim cards for controlling people.

In this movie, there is a lot of good acting. We have Colin Firth (Harry Hart / Galahad), Mark Hamill (Professor Arnold), Samuel L. Jackson (Valentine) and, of course, Taron Egerton (Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin). All of them did great.

This movie is also funny, I'm not going to tell you the jokes because i'll spoil you fun then.

The action scenes are done well. All of those slow motion scenes are done great and they are in perfect timing. Idea with umbrellas that are multipractic (gun, shield, stunner etc.) is great. In every scene there is something new which, of course, I really like.

This movie has a big potential for sequels but, I don't know how the director and writers are going to use that potential. For this movie, when I read some reviews, I was so exciting and finally, I watched it. It was worth waiting. From now on, this is one of my favorite movies.

Taken 3 (2014)

rest in peace, Taken
2 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Well known trilogy get to the end: Taken.

Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose long awaited reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, he goes on the run to evade the relentless pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his "particular set of skills," to track down the real killers, exact his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now - his daughter.

So, I don't really know which movie was worse, Taken 2 or Taken 3. There are so many clichés and stuff that you're going to be like: "God, it's obvious!" or "Why the hell are you doing that, when you can do that?" While I was watching this movie is was hating this movie so hard, because I was hating Taken 2 as well.

Liam Neeson did really disappointing. I was waiting for him to feel some emotions but no, he is like a robot. There are some moments in this movie where you're going to think:" Why did he died... Oh, never mind." He is like a god in this movie,he can't die, obviously. Hie is, somehow, immortal. Theach me your jutsu, senpai!

Action scenes are done good, but not too good. They are obvious, because you'll know that Liam Neeson can't die! So it's not going to be:"Please survive, please survive... Oh, how the hell did he...?" You are not going to feel sorry for him IF he die, because of his "good" acting in this movie.

In the end, if you watched previous ones, go watch it, but don't wait for something new. If you didn't watch previous ones, go watch Interstellar or something like that.

Beautiful movie!
26 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
When you see Russell Crowe act in his own movie, well, that combination is unstoppable!

After the Battle of Gallipoli, in 1919, an Australian farmer, Connor (Russell Crowe), travels to Turkey to find his 3 missing sons. While staying at a hotel in Istanbul, he meets Ayshe (Olga Kurylenko), the hotel manager. And tries to find a way to Gallipoli.

Whatever you thought after you watched trailer, you are WRONG! This movie gives us everything: Action, drama, a bit of romance, good dialogs, NO Clichés, good acting etc., you have a perfect movie.

Acting in this movie is great. Russell Crowe did his best, not only in directing, in acting as well. His hope that one day he will find his three sons is really good shown. Other actors, for example Olga Kurylenko and Jai Courtney, didn't do bad too.

There are not much special effects , but when they are, they are done will. For example, shooting out of cannon is done well. War scenes are done well too. I wasn't expecting that much from this movie.

Soundtracks fits in every scene. That sad atmosphere is good made with those soundtracks.

At the end, I am recommending this movie to everyone who like war movies.

Predestination (I) (2014)
9/10
One of the most mind-blowing movies ever!
25 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of those mind-blowing movies! You have been warned!

Predestination chronicles the life of a Temporal Agent sent on an intricate series of time-travel journeys designed to ensure the continuation of his law enforcement career for all eternity. Now, on his final assignment, the Agent must pursue the one criminal that has eluded him throughout time.

For storyline, this movie deserves a lot of attention. I mean, look. Who the hell would think about that sick sci-fi movie. Im not complaining, but still, woah!

Acting in this movie is great. Ethan Hawke gave us his best performance (he was better in Boyhood, but he is great here too). Sarah Snook did great as well. Dialogs are done great.

Special effects are done well. I really like that time traveling parts. When he teleport, everything in room scattere. Special effects in this movie are not important like story, but I have to say that are done well.

Soundtracks fits everywhere where they are. Somehow, they are connected with story.

I think that part when the Unmarried Mother, as they are telling on IMDb, was telling a story about her horrible life was too long. They could shorten it a lot. I mean, she was telling him a story for about 20-25 minutes.

At the end, I wouldn't recommend this movie to those who want only action movies where you don't need to think a lot, but I would recommend this movie to everyone else!

And where are these mind-blowing parts, you will find out by your self!

Pretty decent movie.
23 March 2015
I don't understand some stuff about reviews. Is it just me or some movies are really underrated? I don't really know.

Jupiter Jones was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine Wise, a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along - her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

As I was saying at the beginning, Jupiter Ascending seem a bit underrated. The story and a whole plot seems pretty decent. Story is well made in this movie. I can tell same as directing, of course. The ending of this movie is pretty predictable, so don't wait for something not seen.

Acting in this movie is also not bad. Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis gave their best. Also, Eddie Redmayne did great! I was impressed. After his Oscar winning role of Steve Hawking, this came perfect. It's, of course, not good as Hawking.

Special effects are sometimes good, sometimes bad, I can't tell. I was impressed when I saw rising in a space ship. Wise's gravity boots are pretty decent made, but some explosions and some shooting are not done well.

There are some political interests in this movie, but they are boring and I think that they could remove them. They are just making a movie longer.

Soundtracks are done well and they fit in as well.

At the end, this movie is really good, but I'm not recommending it to everybody. Sci-fi fans like me are going to like it, but others, I don't think so.

The Giver (2014)
9/10
Another movie about teens, but this one is different!
22 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The Giver is another movie based on a book, but this time: The Giver by Lois Lowry.

This film, based on Lois Lowry's book, tells the story of a perfect world. Everyone here is happy. When Jonas is 18 years old, he's chosen to be the community's Receiver of Memories. He enters into training with an old man called 'the Giver' who would give Jonas memories of the "real" world that the rest of the community is hidden from. From the Giver, Jonas learns not only of love and family, but also of pain, war, and all the unhappy truths the world holds. He quickly realizes that his community is fake. Confronted with this reality, Jonas faces difficult choices about his own life and the futures of many people he's become close to.

So, storyline is well made in this movie. Everything in this movie in so smoothly going on that you'll have a feeling like you are watching documentary. Story reminds me of Divergent and somehow to Hunger Games, but, of course, there are a big differences. That world without color is so good made. That whole idea about no color and perfect world, world without wars and hatred is cool and somehow, I was waiting for that idea.

Acting in this movie is a bit strange, I can't tell if it's good or bad, it doesn't fit anywhere. Jeff Bridges starring the Giver did good. He knew what was going to happen if he show him too much. Brenton Thwaites in role of Jonas did good too. He wanted more and more, and he got it. Effects in this movie are good. No color world, like I told before, is really good. I am looking forward for ideas like that.

Soundtracks in this movie are not bad, but not good to. Some of songs fit well in a whole story and scenes, but some of them are not fitting anywhere.

At the end, if you are a fan of book based movies and if you like teen movies as well (not Twilight), you will like this movie a lot.

Seventh Son (I) (2014)
8/10
Really good movie, recommending it to everybody!
21 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Yey! We have another movie based on a book. This time: Joseph Delaney's The Spook's Apprentice!

John Gregory, who is a seventh son of a seventh son and also the local spook, has protected his country from witches, boggarts, ghouls and all manner of things that go bump in the night. However John is not young anymore, and has been seeking an apprentice to carry on his trade. Most have failed to survive. The last hope is a young farmer's son named Thomas Ward. Will he survive the training to become the spook that so many others couldn't? Should he trust the girl with pointy shoes? How can Thomas stand a chance against Mother Malkin, the most dangerous witch in the county?

So, this movie is really good. The storyline is really good and interesting. Actually, I got what I was expecting. Usually, I don't watch fantasy movies, but when I saw the trailer for this movie, I got excited. Acting in this movie is nothing special, but it's not bad. The action scenes are cool and exciting, but some of jump effects of enemies are really unnatural and funny, but in this case, effects are good. The last battle in this movie is really cool and after I watched it, I was going back to again to beginning.

There is actually not much soundtrack which I don't like. Clichés in this movie are really often, which I don't like.

I recommend this fantasy movie to everybody who likes action and, of course, fantasy.

So bad!
21 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I was waiting for this movie to come just to write a review.

When Anastasia Steele, a literature student, goes to interview the wealthy Christian Grey as a favor to her roommate Kate Kavanagh, she encounters a beautiful, brilliant and intimidating man. The innocent and naive Ana starts to realize she wants him. Despite his enigmatic reserve and advice, she finds herself desperate to get close to him. Not able to resist Ana's beauty and independent spirit, Christian Grey admits he wants her too, but on his own terms. Ana hesitates as she discovers the singular tastes of Christian Grey - despite the embellishments of success, his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, and his loving family, Grey is consumed by the need to control everything.

After this "short" storyline, I must say, this movie is worst movie I saw in my entire life. OK, when you saw a trailer, you thought that this movie is going to be something like porn. Of course, it's not. In this movie sex is dispute thing. I was waiting for something interesting to happen, but after some time you'll give up. But I didn't . I was waiting and waiting, and nothing. Movie dialogs are full of bad acting and clichés. You would expect that actors like Dakota Johnson would act so bad (I mean, that bad). Clichés in this movies are constant and irritating.

Soundtrucks are good, but with everything bad in this movie, that's not enough for 2/10

Disappointing One!
20 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I was disappointed, in short.

Wanted by the Chinese mafia, a New York City bike messenger escapes into the world of parkour after meeting a beautiful stranger. What is good, I don't know. The action scenes are good and exciting, but they are too long. I was napping while they were running, action in this movie is predictable. You can actually predict where the enemies are going to pop up. Acting in this movie is bad and it's not convincing. The story is bad scripted. There is shaky cam all over a movie. You'll have feeling like you are going to have an epileptic attack after two cadre. The movie is unrealistic, there are a lot of moments after you're going to be like: "Why he/she didn't do that, it's better for him/her and for the movie as well!". From the trailer I was expecting so much more, but we got cheap action movie, like those where Steven Seagal is a main actor, so cheap!

Movie is really bad, but there are two or three action scenes that are going to entertain you.

Focus (II) (2015)
8/10
Good and entertaining movie.
14 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Focus is one of those movies that while you'r watching it, you must think a lot.

Nicky Spurgeon is an extremely accomplished con man who takes an amateur con artist, Jess, under his wing. Nicky and Jess become romantically involved, and with Nicky's profession of being a liar and a cheater for a living, he realizes that deception and love are things that don't go together. They split, only to see each other three years later... And things get messy.

Acting in this movie is good. Will Smith give us a lot in this movie. Margot Robbie didn't act bad too. Soundtracks in this movie are great. Story is done well and after watching it, movie seems a bit mind blowing. Not going to spoil you anything, don't worry.

When I first watched the trailer I thought that this movie is going to give us more. I was waiting for some serious action, but I didn't get it. After some time you will get bored, but after some other time, you will be entertained again. Don't worry, there are more entertaining parts then boring, but still...

I recommend this movie to everyone who like crime.

Chappie (2015)
10/10
Don't trust reviews on internet!
13 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Chappie is a really good movie no matter what other reviewers sad.

In the near future, crime is patrolled by an oppressive mechanized police force. But now, the people are fighting back. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. As powerful, destructive forces start to see Chappie as a danger to mankind and order, they will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo and ensure that Chappie is the last of his kind.

In this movie, the actors are really good. Dev Patel did great job with his role. After some time watching the movie, you will think that Chappie is going to be predictable, but it's not. From the trailer, I was thinking that Huge Jackman is going to be a good guy, but, again, NOT! Movie is full of thrills and action and you won't stop watching it. Visual effects are well made too.

Don't trust some reviews, first watch movie, then you will judge it!

Better then Battle of the Smithsonian!
1 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know where to start with this review. This is another end or trilogy in 2014 and it's Night at the Museum.

Larry (Ben Stiller) spans the globe, uniting favorite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever.

This movie was surprisingly good. After Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian I was thinking that this movie trilogy is going to end badly, but thank God that didn't happen. This movie is funny and entertaining as the first one was. There are some jokes that were in first one, but they were still funny. The actors did well, but I'll say that best of them was Owen Wilson and Steve Coogan in the role of Jedediah and Caesar. There are not many special effects, but I'll say they done it well.

Bad things are that jokes that were used from the first Night at the Museum and they are not funny. Some of the actors did act bad, but I can't tell which.

I'll definitely recommend this movie if you want to laugh, but if you are "why so serious", then you won't enjoy it.
