Les Misérables (2012)
Small complaints
All the quick-cuts gave me such a headache. One second, you're looking at a wide shot, then half a second later, we're looking at someone's hands, then a swooping camera shot around a character, then a zoomed in shot of someone's face... It's very disorienting.
If you just wanna enjoy the music without getting motion sickness, try the soundtrack. Only problem is, they took the "recorded on set" approach. It was a good idea in theory, but on the album, you can hear everybody's clothes ruffling and sound effects in the background.
Hearing cockney British accents in France kinda bugged me, but it was like that in the original musical so whatever.
Hugh Jackman did a great job, but the original Valjean, Colm Wilkinson, would've been better. All he got was a stupid little cameo as the bishop. Who cares if he's 20 years older than Jackman? He's still got it. Just give him some hair dye.
Superman: Brainiac Attacks (2006)
Baby's First Superman
I love Superman but you definitely shouldn't watch this after Superman: The Animated Series. It's got a lame plot, childish dialogue, and doesn't have anything new to offer.
It's Baby's First Superman.
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)
Neither bad or good
I recommend getting really high before the camping scene, because the whole movie is littered with cringeworthy parts. Other than that, the plot is no sillier than a regular ol' episode of TOS.
