Salinui chueok (2003)
A Truly Amazing Film
The korean film " Memories of a murder " by Joon-ho Bong follows the story of three detectives as they try to catch a serial-killer who rapes and murders women in a small town in Korea.
This film is directed so perfectly by Bong who does an amazing job in staging a lot of characters in each scene but focusing on the important parts of the scene.
The performances are also great as all three detectives are put through a lot of difficulties . There are a lot of emotional moments and you really feel for the characters even though they are terrible persons ( they even torture the suspects! and watching them trying desperately to fing the killer and how much this affects their lives is truly incredible.
Also i have to mention the ending. Without spoiling it , it is truly haunting and unforgettable and it sums up the film perfectly .
Memories of murder is one the best films i've seen and is up there with se7en as my favorite mystery movie .

The Pianist (2002)
An unforgettable masterpiece
The pianist (2002) is a film directed by Roman Polanski and it's centered around a polish jewish musician (played by Adrien Brody absolutely perfectly ) and his struggles to survive in world war 2 . This film is truly a masterpiece in every single way and ,even though, we have seen a lot of stories about the holocaust this movie is still very shocking .
The main reason is Polanski's amazing direction . The pianist is such a beautifuly looking film that i couldn't take my eyes from the amazing shots i was witnessing and of course the oscar-worthy Adrien Brody who gave one my favourite performances of all time .
The rest of the cast is great and all of the characters feel real , like how a biography should be ...
But the most impressive thing about this movie is music.
Every time Adrien Brody played the piano i was literally crying , especially in the third act with the German character which was the best part of the movie for me .
Overall this film is really great in showing the costs of war , as well as sending the beautiful message of how music can bring people together even if they are from opposing nation .
I would recommend this to everybody

Beibî suteppu (2014)
Underrated
Baby Steps is an anime about a boy named Maruo who desides to start play tennis because of a girl he's interested in . This anime is very realistic and has very good character development which makes it really fun to watch even if you're into sports anime . The romance elements are also very well handled and even though the series starts slow its definitely worth watching . I've been watching tennis for many years and i've got say that the animation in the matches are spectacular and realistic . It's really sad that this show didn't get a proper conclusion because it deserves to be watched and i would recommend it to everyone.
