After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking from BYU, I began editing feature films for the family entertainment market. Other editing projects were the CBS dramatic series Promised Land (a spin-off of the popular series Touched By an Angel); television commercials which were often public service announcements about raising families and helping kids; and documentaries. My last project before taking time off to raise my daughter with my husband was an IMAX - ROAR: Lions of the Kalahari, produced by National Geographic Films. It won the Best Editing award at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival in 2005.
During my child-raising hiatus, I edited projects for non-profits such as Hollywood's Digital Dove, a filmmaking program for young adults in a homeless shelter, and produced and edited a video for Los Angeles' FLAG school, a foreign language immersion program my daughter attended. In 2013, I relocated with my family from L.A. to Nashville, TN. Since my daughter is a big kid now, I have returned full-time to my freelance editing career. I work on both long and short-form projects, either narrative or documentary, and from the heap of raw footage help the director tell a vivid and compelling cinematic story.

Funny and Motivating
A terrific family film that entertains and motivates. Michael Jr. is awesome - he will make you laugh. The take-away messages are timely (very) as well as timeless. The importance of family, prayer and the Bible are themes presented in a light-hearted story about a modern-day family. Both parents and kids will enjoy this film, and it may change some lives, too.
