Southland Tales (2006)

A Fascinating and Interesting Movie!

After reading the reviews- i didn't know what to expect from this movie. I watched this movie on my own and came away from it feeling I'd invested my time wisely.

To start with i wasn't sure what to expect and was going to turn it off at the beginning, but it quickly developed and captured my interest. It was a movie that felt soulful and spiritual.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie- I loved it's randomness and i had a real affinity for the main characters by the end.

The ending was beautiful and touched my heart on a night when it was just something i needed to hear in myself.

What a touching ending.

I would highly recommend watching this. Its a movie that will appeal to anyone who likes to go deep into the depths of philosophy and spirituality.

Malice in Wonderland (2009)

Beautifully Filmed & Feel good Movie with a Great Beginning Middle and End!

As soon as the movie started i got the sense it would be good. I'm someone who can tell within the first ten minutes whether a movie will be worth watching. It was filmed in an awesome way. The story line was lovely, made me cry at the end. I remember thinking at the beginning- i hope the end is as beautiful as the movie begins. It was very twisty and unique. The main characters were authentic and the movie had a really beautiful ambiance about it. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it throughly. I was left with a really good feeling at the end of the movie. It is a movie which touched all of my emotions. There were some amazing characters throughout the movie- it's rarely that i see a movie where pretty much all the actors and actresses are on a par in terms of the quality they are bringing to the movie. The movie was throughly enjoyable to watch. I gave the movie 10 stars as i didn't find any faults in the movie at all and it lived up to my expectations.

Nicole & Tom are Impressive!! This film is all round great acting.

I can't fault the photography & this film really did exceed my expectations due to the high standard the actors brought to each scene.

I'm sure that this movie is definitely underrated. I almost overlooked it due to a couple of bad reviews, especially the ones that slated tom's bad accent. Personally, I thought it was quite charming.

It wasn't just Nicole and tom who did a good job on this either, the entire cast was superb.

I give it a 10/10 for what it achieved. It was just the right length and the movie was rounded off with a good ending.

Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008)

Great Movie if you need cheering up & need to feel a little bit of magic in the soul!

This is my first comment on IMDb. I've seen some great films, but i've not taken action to actually make a comment yet. To give you a reference as to my views, some of the films i enjoy include, The Nines, 50 first dates, Crash, National Treasure, Hellboy, Narnia, Pans Labrynth.

Tonight i wanted to watch a movie which was fun and lifted my spirits,something a little bit magical and this is what this movie left me feeling. I was a little upset tonight and this movie cheered me up. It was something that was nice to watch on my own and i found it quite soothing and relaxing.

Of course i wouldn't say it's a movie for if you want something deep and mind twisting, which is my normal preference or something with great substance and philosophy. However, it is a movie that has a generous spirit. It uplifts & charms.

I was almost put off watching the movie by the negative reviews, but something compelled me. I'm glad i disregarded the comments and am glad to say this film lived up to my expectations. Thankyou to the directors for a quaint and delightful movie.
