She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

Really wanted to like it.......

What can i say??!? I really wanted to like the show. She Hulk is a badass character, sprinkles in some humor, and breaks the 4th wall in the comics. So far, the only thing they've gotten right is her breaking the 4th wall.

Issues i has with the show:

• she's immediately better than a guy whose been the hulk for years and fought against countless foes? I get "girl power" and all, but come on
• 90% of the men in the show are cartoonishly bad. I've known a total of 1 guy in my 40 years that's as misogynistic and ridiculous as these guys
• she makes comments about captain America's ass and virginity that would have caused an uproar if a guy said the same about a female

Character. Equality.....am i right?

• the CGI is AWFUL
• I've laughed at the humor once in 4 episodes. I've laughed more at the stupidity

I have enjoyed:

• wong and abomination cameos
• the shape shifting elf was halfway entertaining
• some of the music.

Ms. Marvel (2022)

I don't get the 1s or the 10s

Through one episode, the show is not bad. Reminds me on a CW show a bit though. Star girl is the first thing that came to mind. Solid acting, ok special effects, and great music. It's not SO woke that it deserves a 1. But, the 10s are either fake or Indian folks who are loving the representation.

The Break-Up (2006)

Not even remotely funny

I'll keep it short and sweet. This movie is not funny, outside of a few random moments. The men are either over the top misogynistic jerks or complete cucks. In my 39 years on this earth I've never met a single man like any of these characters. Absolutely zero nuance at all.

Simple review.

If you have read the marvel zombie comics or you enjoy using your brain while watching movies/shows you'll dislike the episode like i did.

If you're a MCU fan, haven't read the comics, and watch movies/shows without thinking too much you'll enjoy it.

Servant (2019–2023)

Not as good or bad as the other reviews say

The show would have definitely been better off being a movie or four episodes shorter as there was a ton of filler. Having said that, it was delightfully creepy and had some typical M Night twists and turns. Worth a watch if you already have Apple TV. But, not worth buying Apple TV just to watch it.
