Am I the only one that thought this was waaaaaay better than the 2 other GI Joe movies?

I felt it was refreshing in compariskn to the 2 other ones. Those made me feel like I was treated like a moron.

Yes the story is kinda... tacky but I watched this out of nostalgia and the fact that I wanted good action.

I got what I wanted.

Suberb filming locations truly set the atmosphere right. I was impressed because you get immersed in another world.

Let's hope Snake Eyes get's a well deserved sequel.

Furie (2019)

Smooth action like a Hollywood flick

I have seen a huge amount of action movies in my life. Some just stay with you because of the intense scenes.

Let's be real, most of the action flicks coming out of Hollywood have huge budgets & a storyline that at most is comparable with the one of Furie.

The storyline is simple, angry mother looking for her daughter and in the process confronts a lot of bad guys.

Great Vietnamese scenery. A movie about Vietnam actually filmed in Vietnam.

Superb camerawork, it is looking very fresh & the action is hard and raw.

Veronica Ngo is an underrated actress / martial artist. She needs to be casted in a lot more international productions.

Way to go!

Black Panther (2018)

Black bad CGI Overload...and stereotyping all Africans

Not much to say here. I was only able to sit through the first half hour before shutting this horrible piece of £*¨% off.

Some questions that I now have & you should begin to have when starting to watch this waste of time & money:

• why do you need to do everything with CGI when you can have a real background that is cheaper to film?

• who would rate this higher than 2 stars?

• why does everybody in Africa speak English like Eddy Murphy in Coming to America?

• why does Marvel think this movie isn't an insult to my intelligence?

Lady Bloodfight (2016)

Underrated. Nice action, good camerawork & locations... Cliché story... but aren't those the stories we want to see?

Like the title says,

Nice actionscenes & beautiful scenery.

It's a fightingmovie about the Kumité, so what did you expect? A psychological drama that wins 2 Oscars?

No, just a feel-good-movie with a lot of clichés, but is that bad?

I liked the feel of the images, good guys & bad duys but the filming-style looks good, this could have been a better film.

We need more female fighting heroes.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017)

I almost never feel the extreme urge to write a review but this time - since I am sincerely disappointed, I can't control myself.

The first Kingsman was great, witty and original. The second one needed to top that, which would be difficult but they tried to make it work by using too much BAD CGI. Almost all fights are CGI and even when it would have been cheaper to put a real object in place, for some reason they chose to replace it with terrible CGI.

If you try to use CGI, learn from Neil Blomkamp & Oats Studios, otherwise, GIVE MY MONEY BACK. I really want to un-see this movie. It made me feel like an idiot.

Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

First I have to admit that I have never written a review on IMDb. After seeing this awful vehicle last night, I felt compelled to write a short opinion.

As a child from the 80s, it hurts to see the uninspirational new transformer-movies. Robotic dinosaurs and robotic knights, really? OMG.

The story is quite absent so I can not really say much about that. After 2 and a half hours of CGI-stuff exploding and spectacle, you just don't care anymore and are frankly unimpressed.

With a budget of 270 million dollar you can still make rubbish. How come other small budget movies succeed (and they use CGI as well)? How come transformers have human faces? It is really frustrating to look at, especially with all the CGI, you know that they could have change this.

Michael Bay is able but maybe doesn't really want to make good movies? 13 Hours was nice but this have been a crime. I wonder how much they paid Mark or sir Anthony to be in this horrifying thing they call a movie. Or maybe they didn't see it. I hope so, for their conscience.
