Bad Makeup and Not That Much Of An Age Gap
3 May 2024
I loved the movie. Loved how it showed the woman side of a mother, which when you're a solo mom usually stays forgotten. I liked their chemistry, could really see them as a couple. It was hard though to believe the 16 age gap as Nicholas looks his own age and Anne looks younger. It looked more like a 6 years gap, so it kinda looses a little bit of the supposed "problem" between them. The real problem for me was how can a professional makeup artist not test the makeup in the sets light? Or how didn't the director realized how yellow Anne's face looked almost the entire movie. Completely wrong foundation to her skin color and even Nicholas got that problem too in some scenes, but Anne's was too much. One tone on the face another on the neck. If you gonna use a darker foundation at least cover all the seeing parts of the body so it won't look so weird. That was really distracting to me. 😅

When A Man Loves A Woman
25 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Ok, this episode was so good. Sophie trying to sing when a man loves a woman was hysterical, I laughed hard on this one. I hope they have a moment of Hilary singing a whole song or almost a entire one, I'm a big fan of her since I was a kid, it would be very exciting. Josh having a Ross (from Friends) moment was too good, I love him. And not to spoil anything but I'm excited to see the guest appearance again. The show is getting better and better each episode, I'll admit that I wasn't really excited to watch when it came out and only did so because of Hilary, but it grew on me and I do love it now. Loved the beginning of the season and excited for what's to come. I wish the episodes were a little longer though.

Flipped (I) (2010)
10/10
If it's on tv 1000 times, I'll watch it 1000 times.
20 January 2023
This is one of my favorite movies! I don't recall when I first saw it but I was a probably still a teen, I'm close to 30 now and I still watch it everytime. It's the most sweet and real story I've seen and it's perfect that is set on the 60's it just turns sweeter. The grandpa is very wise. The two main actors are great. And I just wanted to hit Garrett in the face. 😅 Is just flawless. That ending is perfect and it makes me absolutely certain that they grew old together. I wish they would make a movie showing the rest of their lives, I bet it would be a beautiful story. Hope one day I'll show Flipped to my kid and that he'll love watching it as much as I do.

The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022– )

Don't mind the trolls
19 June 2022
I read so many bad reviews saying how poorly was adapted but I guess people didn't pay attention that the author itself created e co-wroted the series so I guess all the changes from the books were made because she thought it would fit better. I'm in the middle of the book right now and so far the series was much better and the changes elevated the stories for me. Oh and also if you're a middle age man and you're saying this is trash then maybe you should watch appropriate things for your age and your wonderful IQ. And for the one that only paid attention to the politics, belive nobody that cared about the romance and the untangle of it paid any mind to it. It's a great series, very easy to watch and will hold your attention for sure. And the tracklist is great! Highly recommend the show!

Great ending for the trilogy
11 August 2021
I found it to be a very nice growing up story with some good realizations that the one we need to please above all is ourselfs. I guess even more in that age people tend to go through that, so it's a good reminder to teenagers and even for us as adults. It's a cheesy movie for sure with a lot of drama but I didn't decide to watch hoping for an Oscar nominated film, people who has done that should chill out. It was very entertaining and it made me cry a little bit at the end. I really loved the ending and had a lot of fun watching the whole thing. I surely recommend it!

Ps: Loved to see how much Noah have grown up, he was very toxic in the first movie. I kinda felt proud of him for controlling himself over fighting in this one, he looked way more mature.
