Beautifully executed, funny and unsettling
5 February 2022
We currently live in a world where believing something is true, just because you want it to be, is pervading every area of our lives.

This small, beautifully cast and acted film uses character and humour to make a universal and unsettling point- that hope usually trumps truth.

A rare and enjoyable gem !

With a title like "Everyone's Going To Die' it's tempting to expect a sub-Guy Ritchie piece, but this film confounds your expectations right from the start. it's an (increasingly) rare example of an truly engaging film about people, and relationships and life. The two lead performances are fantastic and the chemistry between them makes you care what happens right from the start, and the script keeps their characters developing both plausibly and unpredictably. This film is laugh-out-loud funny, surprising and surreal, sad and moving in parts...yet always true. It looks beautiful, holds your attention all the way through and sends you away happier than when you went in. "In A World" of clichés, and film franchises, Everyone's Going To Die' is the best film I've seen in a very long time.
