The F Word (2013)
Lighthearted Rom-com
Watched this one rainy afternoon and really enjoyed it. The dialogue was fast paced and made me laugh. I thought casting was great with the two leads very well suited. Was a great charming film that had a feel good factor
Freaky Friday (2003)
Still one of my fav films
Loved this as a teenager and still do! Just a fun feel good film with fab acting from Jamie and Lindsay, and the soundtrack ain't half bad either!
National Treasure (2004)
One of my favourite films
I just love watching this film, such an exciting adventure film. The acting, score, setting are all great. Highly recommend for a pleasant evening's viewing
Little Women (2017)
Poor adaption
Ok I must admit I've not read the book and this was my first adaptation, so I couldn't believe how bored I felt watching! I love period dramas but this was just awful.
The young actors were poorly cast, they were so wooden, I didn't believe any emotion they had! It felt like watching a high school play. The set, costumes and music were lovely but I can't wait to watch another adaption. As from just finishing this I need something to make me fall in love with the characters.
Anastasia (1997)
Favourite animated movie
Loved rewatching this, the songs are beautiful could be in a musical. You seem to forget it is animation in parts as the voice actors are fab and the storyline is so enticing.
The Gentlemen (2019)
Wow best film seen this year
Wow everything was a tick for me - fast paced, great storyline, twists n turns, great soundtrack, clever filming and great performances. Surely Hugh Grant's best acting? Didn't recognise it was him!
Only You (1994)
Wonderful romantic film
First time I watched it and just loved it, was swept away in the romance and the stunning Italian scenery. Definitely would recommend!
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
Just so Eurovision!
Being a fan of Eurovision I was a bit apprehensive about how they could make a movie based on it but was pleasantly surprised. It's a fun don't-take-it-too-seriously film with lots of real funny moments. I thought the casting was great, the scenery superb and the songs were very catchy. I also loved seeing some Eurovision stars feature! Definitely would recommend :)
City Slickers (1991)
Great classic comedy feel good movie
I really enjoyed this movie. So many laugh out loud moments with such a great cast and Billy Crystal with the lead, he's just hilarious. Such a feel good film that really cheered me up. Has aged well and just overall great film!
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
Favourite movie of all time
Loved it as a child even more so as an adult. Honestly can't think of another film which comes close. The humour, adventure, action, all beautifully orchestrated with the fantastic score from John Williams. Wish movies were made like this, movies at their best!!
