Resident Evil (2022)
RE Multiverse grows!
I know that Paul Anderson destroyed the saga with a cheesy but fully action movies, after all, even she's a bad actress, I love Mila. And last, but no less, the adaptation of the recent RE by Johannes Roberts wasn't so good even they tried but...this series, considering it as a multiverse of RE, wasn't that bad at all. Ella Balinska Drives the show beautifully, this storyline, in this multiverse it's really attractive, interesting. The Interact between the timelines is sometimes unnecessary but good to know the deeps of the main characters. I still don't know why Wesker is black (maybe movie industry is getting us tired with the forcing inclusion thing) but anyway, still goes! Seeing the Easter eggs of RE like the Dobermans, Tyrant, Zombies, The giant Worm, The big cocodrile, the rats, Lisa Trevor, so well integrated in this universe was cool. This story about clones and parents and daughters and sons, this perfect sister relationship broken by the lies, becoming nemesis, it has something that gives a really fresh look to the RE multiverse, so, I don't know if there is a negative campaign against this series by angry fans or company interests or what, don't destroy it and give it a chance, I am a fan too and I still want to see a truly faithful adaptation of the games on the big screen, maybe George Romero or Zack Snyder or James Wan, who knows! Don't bury it yet!
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Faithful and scary...
Even they did a mix up from RE1 and 2 it was well settled, no deep dialogs and story back line but...was ok. I like what faithful was with most of the original story, we saw here a lot of things we never saw on the Mila's version and from the original games, it was a lovely homage, yes sir! Let's not be so hard with the movie, it's really hard to be 100% faithful of books or games in this case. Too bad that Leon's character was so tortured and bullied in this version because the actor made a good job but let's not forget that Leon at RE2 was a litle bit clumpsey and dork. The movie scares which is something it doesn't happen on the other version which are more focused on the action. I missed Barry Burton or Rebecca Chambers, I guess we will see them on the sequel, if there is one (Personally, I hope so) I'm a big fan of RE and this is the first thing more faithful I saw so far! Well done Johann Roberts and Writers! Sometimes critics hurt movies so bad and they become underestimated, let's give it a chance, please!
Duendes en el jardín (2004)
Hi! I am the director of "Goblins in the garden"
Hello everyone! This was my first short film and there's so much to learn yet, I have to say that "Goblins" it's a rare stuff, some might love it, and others may hate it. This is what it causes. It's a deep minded story, with the horror hidden in your mind. As a role game, you can chose what to believe. I always believe in "Goblins" as a psychological horror movie, 'cause there is nothing to see in the film, but that's because I always believe that what you can't see is what it scares you most. The character Pablo goes out from college in what supposed to be a simple ride home but when he mets the house and that strange goblins inside the dead garden it all changes to be the most terrifying ride of his life, until the madness comes to posses him.
hope to enjoy it.
