Hitler's Circle of Evil (2018)
The first three episodes are required Television
This inside look at how Hitler came to power brings the viewer as close as possible to being there in real time. What a crew of believers he surrounded himself with.
Get Me Roger Stone (2017)
Fascinating insights to a manipulative process
Stone to his credit gives wide-ranging access to the filmmakers. If you weren't cynical before, you will be after watching this. Stone process himself to be a mostly unevolved Enneagram 3. I like his support of gay rights.
Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions (2020)
She's captivating to watch
I'm giving her a pass because of the pandemic. Normally, watching a rock star or celebrity live sequested in a remote, idyllic location, talking to people who are paid to listen to her, would turn me off. In this case, hearing Taylor Swift describe her creative process is fascinating. And the songs are good.
The Social Dilemma (2020)
Scary good
I couldn't stop talking a it. It is eye opening. Everyone who uses the internet sounds watch this. We are not in a good place. These tech giants are enslaving us.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Great Television
Must see tv. Some episodes are stronger than others.
Ozark (2017)
Great acting, plot weak at points
The acting held me in while the plot drove me away. I just couldn't buy it at points.
Fleabag (2016)
Best TV of my year
This show pulled me in and never let go. The acting is spot on. The story is extreme yet believable. The family dynamic is priceless.
The Godfather Part II (1974)
Almost perfect
A couple of the plot points developed too fast for me, stretching credulity. The acting is masterful. I like how it is shown with Part I in chronological order when broadcast on TV.
The Godfather (1972)
Best. Movie. Ever.
I didn't know movies could be this perfect. The acting, the story line, and the cinematography are superb. How much more can I write?
